Whoa, whoa, whoa, Liberty! That is just freaky. I literally came into this thread right now to post about Falling Up. Wow... haha. I've been listening to them for a couple months, and I really love some of their stuff. Broken Heart has a really cool intro! I'm also fond of Good Morning Planetarium, A Guide to Marine Life, and Searchlights.
I listened to a lot of Falling Up when they first became big radio people when I was in junior high. (My goodness, that seems so long ago). "Broken Heart" was my favorite.
Nice graphics MissA. I love them so so much. Have you listened at all to Stephen Christian's side project Anchor & Braille. They're a little too "indie" and unpolished for me, but I've been listening more and more and it's growing on me. I really like "Calm, Calm, Calm Yourself". It's a shame that Aaron Marsh decided not to be a part of the project, but he still does back-ups. (I'm still kicking myself for going home for the summer when Copeland, Sherwood, and Stephen were in town. Gah!)
I'm so excited that the amazing band Fair is finally puting out their second album after 4 years! 4 years! Aaron Sprinkle is so amazing and I can't wait.
I also really love the band Fairground. They don't even have any releases yet, but the song on their myspace is amazing.
I've been listening a lot to Paper Route and MUTEMATH lately. They're both so full of stuff in their music. It's wierd to get used to. But I like it.
Thanks Lark! They are rather fabulous. I really wish the Deas Vail/Owl City tour was coming near me. Deas Vail is so incredibly amazing live.
Nioniel: Oh dear, that's a hassle. But I'm so glad that the iTunes people are being obliging. I mean really, it's not like it costs them anything to replace your tracks. I'm so glad their reasonable about it.
MissAravis: yay! I have only just got into Falling Up, but I really like their stuff, especailly "Hotel Aquarium" and "A Guide To Marine Life"!
I LOVE your avatar and siggy by the way! I LOVE Anberlin's music! YAY FOR ANBERLIN!

Falling Up?
-I saw them live in concert 2-3 years ago... I wasn't huge into a lot of bands though, so really, I didn't care too much.
-We own a few songs of theirs. My favorite right now is "Hotel Aquarium"...
But yeah, I enjoy their music.

Thanks, Kate & Liberty. (about the graphics). Kate, I hadn't heard of Anchor & Braille until you mentioned them. So I listened to a couple of their songs (Rust and Calm, Calm, Calm Yourself). I see what you mean about being a little too indie. And I think you like the genre (if you could call it that) better than I do. But I did like the songs. I love Stephen's voice so much.
Mutemath... I've only heard one song by them, "Noticed." It keeps randomly coming back into my head. I should listen to more of their music.
Oh yeah, Hotel Aquarium is awesome too. Some of their song titles are just so random. haha.
Does anyone like Ace Enders and a Million Different People?
ok,
so I started listening to Skillet's Monster and I am really liking it now.
I already enjoyed Hero. So that's two songs off the latest cd I now like.
Still prefer Comatose.
Narnian1: I am glad you are liking Monster! I knew it would only be a matter of time.....lol! that song really is addicting! I loved it the first time I heard it, but then again, I like any Skillet song the first time I hear it!

Hey, HelloHurricane! I LOVE your username! Welcome to NarniaWeb. You'll enjoy it here A ton of us like Switchfoot, Owl City, Relient K/Matt Thiessen (me included!)
I love all the Owl City songs that feature Matt Thiessen. It's cool to be listening and realize Ooh, a familiar voice!!
Miss Aravis: Thanks! Yeah, I hope he (Matt Thiessen) comes out with a solo album in the electronic genre...his voice (and the lyrics he writes) would fit very well into electronic music, I think.
Anberlin is awesome, too, by the way!

so I am like super hyper b/c the Deas Vail/Owl City tour is coming to three places where I might go see it!!! I probably won't but still, at least I have a chance!
So Switchfoot preformed last Wednesday at the place where I saw RK but I didn't go b/c 1) I'm not a ton in to SF, 2) I only found out the Sunday before, and 3) it was like $25 or something to go...
Switchfoot rules! they have great music!
I almost got to go to the concert that GTG mentioned above, but sadly, I missed it!
it's okay, though!

Hi HelloHurricane! Welcome to Narnia Web!
Like MissAravis said, a lot of us like Switchfoot. I like them a lot too.
Amberlin...I think I've heard of them, but I've never heard their songs. What kind of music is it?
Does anyone here know if Copeland is good? Or what songs from them are best?
That's too bad you're not gonna see Deas Vail. I have only heard a couple songs from them, and I don't really know if I like them or not. Any song suggestions?
I'm glad you like Learning To Breathe, Liberty! I love that album. Living Is Simple and The Economy Of Mercy are really good from that one.
