Regarding Hello Hurricane, I've heard three songs off of it. I'm getting super excited and think I'm going to like it.

Hello Hurricane, which I've only heard via YouTube videos.

LOVE The Sound. I was there at Rock the Universe and heard it *squee* During the concert, he went out into the crowd and I was three feet from him but all I could touch was his wedding ring/ring finger/pinky finger. *sigh* (His shirt was awesome...I want it! It was kind of ironic, yet touching, that it was 9/11 and they sang "We built these cities to stand so tall/We've lost our walls/I don't want to lose you coming down with the whole world upside down/I don't have a soul to trust in now with the whole world upside down/We are one tonight.")

At first Mess of Me got on my nerves (and the constant drug references made my eyebrows fly up) but now I groove to it. I just had to tell myself that Jon likes to use drugs as a metaphor for an unmet need. It's a very creative song.

I tracked down Flyleaf's new single on YouTube. It's pretty awesome.

Ah, very cool. I wonder when Flyleaf's new CD comes to Australia? It's not available on our iTunes (not that I buy much music from them). I enjoyed the samples I've heard.

Me too! I can't wait! I was at a concert when they played The Sound and Mess of Me. I didn't like Mess of Me at first, but now I love it! I watched the live chat with Switchfoot when they played Always. I almost cried! It is SO good! They went through a tough time getting Hello Hurricane, but I think they were reminded of who they are, and why they make music. My sister said this album feels like "a breathless heartbeat." She's right.

Me too! It bugged me that the guitars sounded so... hard and not like them... if you know what I mean. But then, I really didn't like the "there ain't no drug", but it grew on me!

I heard little clips of each song, and I think Sing It Out, And You Love is A Song are SO beautiful! Nothing out of the ordinary for Jon Foreman!

I want the "Love is the Movement" shirt! I found this one American Eagle tee that looks like the album cover, cuz it's white with seagulls over a pink ocean sunset, and I call it the "Hello Hurricane shirt!"

so i got Relient K's new album, it is defiently way better than Five Score and Seven Years Ago but it still doesn't live up to mmmhmm which was awesome. i've also been listening to a lot of Oh sleeper lately (anyone know them?) and Underoath, and a bit of Haste the Day.

*eyes bug* Wow. I want one. I do have the blue Switchfoot shirt with the radio on it, and the black one with "Hold fast to the break of day..." Except that people are always trying to read it and don't get it.

I saw that video about the making of Hello Hurricane too, Pen. They come up with the rockingest CD titles! Haha, yeah, I loved Oh! Gravity. I have a picture of Jon jumping on my English binder with those words on it and my teacher wanted to know what it was. I was like, "That's the lead singer from Switchfoot...yeah...I'm kind of a fan." Although I wonder why the sudden change from constant God-references after The Beautiful Letdown.

Kat I had a question for you- you bought F&NSD off of iTunes right? Which webisodes were included (or did you even get them)? Were they the animated ones they have? " *something* Forest" they're called. Or were they real webisodes?

I'm so excited I joined RK's online fanclub! Their first contest is to take a pic of you with their new CD (as creative as it can be) and then they'll pick the four most creative pictures and the fansite members will pick which one they like the most and that person will get a phone call from RK! I hope I win!

Christmas Offerings arrived today. Hooah!! I have already listened to it several times. I love the whole CD, but these are my favorites: Born in Bethlehem, Angels We Have Heard On High, Jesus, Light of the World, and Christmas Like A Child.

Mhm, yeah I got it from iTunes and it has the 4 webisodes. They are the same ones that were in their podcast (and on their website). I was kinda happy they had them because the podcast videos for some reason wouldn't sync to my ipod. But the ones from F&NSD work

Woooooow that is amazing about the contest for people in the RK fanclub. I kind of wish I had joined, but it seemed a little expensive and I wasn't even sure what the fanclub was or what the benefits were. I hope you win too! Gosh that would be so amazing! I tried sending Matt T a facebook message but he never replied. I'm sure it's his facebook though because he was friends w/ all the other band members and his relatives.

Haha! In science last year, we were studying gravity. Yeah, I wrote "Oh! Gravity!" ALL OVER my papers!!!! I don't think my teacher got it...
In my notebook, I have a TON of cool SF graphics that someone made, and I printed and cut them out. My friends are always like "more Switchfoot, huh?"
