What songs/ music genres would fit for each Pevensie? For each movie/future adaptation of each book?

I've thought a lot about this and made my own playlists for each character on Spotify in order to organize it.

I'd like to know what you guys think, do you agree that these songs/genres fit? Or do you have any suggestions?

Susan Pevensie:

1. South London Forever by Florence + The Machine

2. Modern Girls and Old Fashion Men by The Strokes, Regina Spektor

3. Saturn by Sleeping At Last

Edmund Pevensie:

1. Turn to Stone by Ingrid Michaelson

2. Little Dark Age by MGMT

3. Voyage by Scott Krippayne

Lucy Pevensie:

1. Dreamer by Elizaveta

2. Fidelity by Regina Spektor

3. Blackbird by Alter Bridge

King Caspian:

1. Revolution by The Score

2. Glory and Gore by Lorde

3. Perfect Places by Lorde

The Silver Chair End Credits:

1. Dear Fellow Traveller by Sea Wolf

2. Into the Fire (Acoustic) by The Thirteen Senses

3. Forevermore by Katie Herzig

Peter Pevensie šŸ˜‰

1. Glorious by Macklemore, Skylar Grey

2. Glitter & Gold by Barns Courtney

3. The Sunbed Song by Level 42

I have tons of other choices for each category, but lmk what you guys think!

I agree with you on the Last Battle song themes. I really like the way you had the lyrics match with the books/series of Narnia.Ā  However, I disagree with you on the song for "Voyage" for the Edmund Pevensie suggestion and the "South London forever" because I do not really feel the tune matches with the vibe of the characters. The effort you made is very amazing to see and the thought you put into this was great!Ā

Thank you Ed!

I posted 'South London Forever' because the lyrics made me visualize what Susan's life story could be post Last Battle. And for 'Voyage' I was thinking the song characterized Edmund's spirit of adventure in VDT.

However, it's interesting that your music characterization of the Pevensies would rely on the tune/lyrics mainly, while I usually look for the right vibe lol.

That's cool though! I'll have to do some more in-depth reading of the lyrics and listen to the tune more closely like you said.

If you have any alternatives for those two, please let me know! I'd love to hear them.

I've been out for a while (finals Yawn ), but I had to come back here to post something quickly related to this old topic:

Today, while listening to *Yucky Blucky Fruitcake by Doechii, I heard one of the lyrics mention (I presume) the Walden Films

"I start sobbing watching Narnia". I was so surprised I had to turn off my music, and go look up the lyrics, and I was right!

It's crazy that a song popular on Spotify in 2021, mentioned the film! Although the stanza was referencing old 2000's trends it

was still nice to hear 'Narnia' in a song made recently. Maybe Doechii is a fan! lol

*listener discretion since the song is rated EĀ
