well, even though I missed Casting Crowns and Kutless, my dad and sister went and a couple times during the concert, my dad called and let me listen in on a couple of songs! and he brought me a signed poster from Kutless and an arm band from Kutlles for me! *happiness* and my sister got Casting Crowns to sign our copy of their CD!

^^duh, I know. But it would still be cool to listen in
so I heard on the radio today that Chris Tomlin will have a new single out on the radio in about a couple of weeks.
Just thought I'd share the news. I didn't know, but I am definitely looking forward to it.
Awesome about WinterJam, Lark! Yay!! I'm so happy you got to meet TAN. They are soo nice, right? That's cool that they played Break Me Down. They didn't play that one here :S Otherwise it sounds pretty much the same. Good, I'm glad I wasn't the only one who liked Fireflight... I guess Dawn just isn't the best singer live. Oh, about The Newsboys, you mean they opened up something beautiful with "I gotta Feeling"(the blackeyed peas)? That's what they did at the show I went to.. at first I was like, "What? Why the heck are they performing this?"
I missed the TRS stream Darn it. Oh well. I remembered about it a few minutes ago, but it was already over, or it had just finished, apparently.
Winterlife: YAY! Voting's not open yet, so don't look too hard I'll make sure to post in here when it is.
AC: Yes, you vote online for the Dove Awards. There's also like voting via text, but I'm not sure if it's just for the US or other countries...
HelloHurricane: I've gotten a couple free (legal) downloads by Gungor, and I think they're pretty good! I haven't listened to much else by them though.
narnian1: cool. Does that mean he's having a new CD out soon?

it's what I am hoping for. It sounded like it'd be something brand new. But they weren't too clear on that.
^^awesome. I haven't heard much of his newest CD Hello Love yet, but I love See the Morning and Arriving.
I Love Chris Tomlin's Amazing Grace song! It's probably my favorite version of Amazing Grace.
Does anybody like trailer music? X-Ray Dog, Brand X, AudioMachine to name a few of the groups.
They do all the music just movie trailers and promotional stuff.

The part that I watched is up on http://www.ustream.tv/recorded/4931831
At least, I think that's all of it. But the part that I didn't get to watch wasn't put up..
EDIT: I found the rest it on the front page of his website. Watching now..
Amazon says Of Men and Angels is going to be delivered on Feb.26th.. it's out now! I can't wait 3 more days.. well, I guess I'll have to, but...

^^awesome. I haven't heard much of his newest CD Hello Love yet, but I love See the Morning and Arriving.
Hello Love has some great songs, but even so- it doesn't hold up as well as See The Morning, which I think was his best Cd overall. Although How Great Is Our God, from Arriving, is by far my favorite of his songs.
@Ali: You couldn't even hear Dawn singing most of the time. The music was just way too loud.
No, I don't like "Man in the Mirror." I think it's uber annoying. I like "Beat it" and "Bad" well enough though. Especially their Weird Al spoofs.
Trust me you did not want to hear her sing it.
@Queen Su: I didn't like it 'cause Dawn was singing it. I love that song, too, but she didn't do it any justice at all. Her voice and Mac Powell's didn't blend well at all.
@Kat: You're right! They are soooo nice! They were all so awesome! But I was reading their tweets later and apparently someone stole their promotional banners that night! I feel so bad about that.
Yeah, when they played "Break Me Down" I was super excited 'cause I remembered that you had said that they get the audience involved in it. Mike said something like "How many of you guys feel like dancing?". I was like literally the only one in my section that stood up, but oh,well. And then he "taught" us the chorus.(I already knew it, of course ) My friends were laughing at me the entire time. (btw,I pre-ordered their CD at the concert so I got this nifty little booklet that has some devotionals written by Mike in it. Do you want me to PM them to you? [this offer in directed to everyone] )
Lark: too bad . You don't like it! It's one of my favorite songs of his . I like Beat It and Bad too . Ooh I'd like the devotionals! *is wishing she went to Winterjam *
AC: thanks for letting me know. I'll have to watch it later today. I'm trying to convince my mom to let me buy Of Men and Angels today. It's price went down from $11.70 to $7.99 so that should make convincing easier
narnian1: yes, See the Morning is definetly his best album, though he has a lot of great songs on Arriving.
I think "Hello Love" is Chris Tomlin's best music! I have to say, I heard "Arriving" and See The Morning"a million times and am tired of both.....
