I really like the sound of the song, I'd have to hear it more to get the lyrics down though. However it doesn't feel like Newsboys to me. I prefer Peter Furler.
If I had it my way I'd have the group go by a different name now that Michael Tait is the lead, after all the sound isn't the same anymore.

^^I'll have to listen to that. I agree they should've just changed the name. If bands change lead singers, it's never the same. They should just start over, especially if they're going to reinvent they're sound and image.

I'm listening through the songs for the second time now. I'm going to try and not overdo it, because then I won't appreciate the CD when it comes out. But, I can't survive on just one time.

SO excited! I'm going to be voting for By Your Side for song of the year, Always (SF) for rock/contemporary song of the year, Mess of me (SF) for rock song of the year, Tenth Ave for group of the year, and City On Our Knees for pop song of the year.
AND I am really excited because Relient K was nominated for the Recorded Music Packaging award. (like their album art/photography for Forget and Not Slow Down). YAY!

Haha yeah The Light Meets the Dark is TAN's new album.. that name comes from a line from the chorus of one of their new songs that they sang at Winter Jam ("This is where the healing begins, this is where the healing starts. Come here when you're broken within, the light meets the da-a-ark.." etc. )

I haven't preordered the TAN album yet, my mom said she didn't see any reason for us to since it's still 3 months away We're not worried about the autographed copy thing since I already have their autographs in 4 different places

I just realized "Of Men and Angels" comes out on my little sister's13th birthday. I've already asked her about it and she said "no." I still haven't bought her a present.

I have decided that I am not as excited about Fireflight's new CD as I once was. I mght get it some day, but I would rather get my own copy of Skillet's Comatose (I have been using my brother's copy until now)!

Haha, I was listening to the radio today, and it was playing "Dare You To Move" by Switchfoot. Well, my Dad's phone rings, and he says to me, "Could you go turn off that acid rock?"

I had to laugh. And he was mostly kidding anyway.

Especially since later it was playing "Love Never Fails" by Brandon Heath, and he said "Go turn of the loud rock music, will you?"

I said, "What??? Dad, listen! This isn't rock!" He said then that it was "soft rock." The whole thing was pretty much a joke, and I thought it was funny.
