For some reason I've never really gotten that into "Let Me Go On" The Pendragon. I have the whole album, and it's a great album, but that one isn't my favorite.

About Lights, I also like Drive My Soul, Ice, Pretend, and Lions! (which Hello Hurricane mentioned already). I've always wondered if Saviour and Drive My Soul are meant to be seen as songs about God, but I really can't tell. Anyway, she's pretty different from most of the other music I listen to (except Owl City, I guess), but yeah, I dunno why I really like her.

Right now Apparitions and Patience are my favorite Seabird songs. From what I've heard I like their first album better, but I haven't gotten it yet.

Last night I was completely struck by the beauty of "Strange and Unprepared" by Copeland. It sounds weird, but the main thing that makes it so gorgeous is how the mic picks up every little clicking noise that the keys of the piano make.

a quick song to reccomend, you guys should listen to Forever by Fireflight. It's on of their softer songs and it has great emotion and lyrics

That EP from "Brothers at Sea" is AWESOME!! Wow,they're good! "The Atlantic" is my favorite song,but I love them all! Too bad they're in California. Oh,well,maybe they'll come to my area sometime. I hope.

I'm thinking that they are going to go through each section and when they finally get to Volume 10, that's when the album will be released. We still know nothing about a release date, album title, cover art, etc.

So the tickets for the Paramore/Relient K concert near me are finally on sale. I'm worried about discussing it with my mom because she doesn't like how Relient K doesn't write exclusively "Christian" music. I'm wondering if I should try to go with a friend who would drive me there instead... because I don't think my mom would enjoy it at all. (She didn't like any of the bands at WinterJam except for TAN) If Jon ends up letting me play, I'm guessing she'd want to go, but her opinion of RK would probably go down after seeing them live, since they aren't really a worship band. And she certainly wouldn't like the other two groups. I need to get tickets soon before they're sold out.. I know it sounds really silly but I'm just afraid to talk to my mom about it.
I really don't know what to do!!

I'd get your friend to buy the tickets(or have Jon hold some for you,if he would),and offer to pay her after you've disscussed this with your mom and/or dad.
And it would be awesome if you could play. Maybe you could meet Matt Thiessen!
