The Toby/Skillet tour is coming to my state twice!! Unfortunately, it's coming once to the high north end, and once to the low low end. Needless to say I can't go My friends went to see Toby a few years back, but that was before I was into music.

I would love to see 'Lose my Soul' performed live.

*happiness* i just got the four CDs i ordered in the mail today! fortunatley this time none were cracked . the only disspointment was i thought i ordered the deluxe version of 2LDMAR...B3D. but it was just the regular one. oh well.

i saw the music video for "marilyn manson at my girlfriend". hmm. not a video i would reccomend to all my friends who hate rk but it was...interesting.

on the subject of music videos, i love SF's "mess of me" music video. live preformance music videos don't tend to be that great, most don't have good quality and whatnot *coughrk'sdevestationandreformcough* . but this one was really well executed. makes me want to go see a concert !

Kate: See, that's the problem. I've been thinking about it for a while. People can't go anywhere with covers I've written several things, but they're just like piano/new age type of pieces, like George Winston or Yiruma. Not songs. I don't really have confidence in my voice, so I don't sing much. I should find some people to collab with... hrrrm. I've thought about this all and I dunno what to really do. I'm 99% sure I'm going to major in music(classical) in college, so I guess I have a few years to decide what I'm gonna do with my life after that lol.
btw, I loved the Heavy and Light performance. Sooo good.

Right now I'm really loving the Danyew EP. The Closer We Are, Streetlight, and Beautiful King would probably be liked by most of the people in here. Beautiful King is really gorgeous, but my favorite on the EP might actually be Close Your Eyes. It's not the type of thing I normally like, but for some reason I like it... it's very relaxing.

I bought Stellar Kart's single off of iTunes and was...dissapointed. I fear I'm outgrowing their style. It sounds kinda like those Praise and Worship 4Kids CDs....

I love Stars! I LOVE how they're in the rain and under water! So cool! You can watch the making of it too. It's good! And it WAS shot underwater! Also, the Happy is A yuppie Word music video is under water! The making of that one is SO funny! Here.

There are no dates for "Awake Tonight" in the 5 states nearest to us. At least, not from the lists I've seen.

I have seen Skillet live three times and I have seen Tobymac live htree times! I am SURE that both of them will be awesome together!

Listening to TB&TBS and realizing it has a really country feel to it...I like it . My friend has told me for months how bad this EP(s) is but I love it! Can't trust his opinion anymore...

Awesome, GtG! I love TBATBS. The first half is really awesome. A lot of people were afraid that that 'country' feel was becoming their sound when they first heard it, but obviously they were just experimenting. I think they pull it off really well
