There are some really nice people on the Switchfoot boards, unlike the official Relient K boards. I mean, it's obviously not as closely-moderated as NarniaWeb, but it's a lot better than some. My username on there is theheartrender if anyone else joins :P

I'm on the SF boards, my user name is Echo To The Sky. & QueenSu, I won't shoot you! I like jon's hair too, now! :p

The fan club, Friends of The Foot is really awesome, but expensive! X( My mom thinks it's a good deal, but my dad doesn't. :(

GTG: the box set is really cool! you should get it if you can! I only have the deluxe version, but it's cool too. :)

They have Daily Foot pics up again! YES! These are the BEST pictures of Switchfoot! If you wanna make graphics, they're great for them! :)

It is a good deal but still expensive...

I'm gonna try but I have to save up some money first. I have enough now but I don't want to spend it tall...

I was actually planning on making some, where do you get those pics?

They used to have them on daily-foot.blogspot.com, but now, the site is changed to like Switchface, or something. And all the pictures are gone. :-o
I saved them all though (well, most, I think) so I could send them to you. I'm gonna ask about this on the SF boards. It's a CRIME to take away the Daily Foots! :-o :p

Wow.. I haven't been on here in a while.. (as in, the forum, this thread, which is what I post on mostly :p)

I really like "Walls" by TRS. Especially the beginning, where his voice is softer, and more.. emotional, somehow? I'm not sure how to describe it. Really can't wait for Men and Angels. Is the cover on his Myspace the real album cover? I was just wondering, because the font doesn't really look like the font on all the other albums, as in the "The Rocket Summer" bit.

It was my birthday last week and I got MMHMM, finally. :) I really like it, a lot more than Five Score and Seven Years Ago. I just really love every single song on there, apart from the one with a really long name that I can never remember - something about a horse? =))

I also got a £25 iTunes card, (UK iTunes, at last ;) )which is enough money to buy about 30 songs.. except I really can't choose which ones. :p Any ideas would really help. I'm thinking about getting another Relient K album - do you think I should get FANSD or one of the first three? I would totally get either Hello Hurricane or Ocean Eyes, but neither are available. :((

Hmm.. I own Switchfoot's "The Best Yet" but haven't really heard anything outside of those songs, apart from a couple on Hello Hurricane. Any recommendations as to which songs/album I should start with?

Ah.. I had other stuff to say after reading through the thread, but I've forgotten.. :( Oh yeah, MissAravis, congrats on the message from Jon Schneck, that's amazing!!

Lifehouse's new album has been pushed back again, so now it's coming out on Feb. 23rd, same as TRS. I'm going to pre-order both, I think. Wonder which will arrive first in the post.. lol.

yay you're back! I've missed you! :D :p

The Only Thing Worse Than Beating a Dead Horse is Betting on One... :p I actually like that song...alot... ;) :D

Oooh I would get songs from FANSD and then songs from other albums. I could give you some suggestions on what songs are good on which albums...at least IMO.

The Beautiful Letdown is an awesome album by Switchfoot. I like almost every single song on it! :D

I was going to preorder some albums but I think I'll just wait. Fireflight's and tobyMac's. And TRS's. But I don't even have Do You Feel yet and I want to get that first.

I bought TB&TBS, 2LDMAR...B3D, TBL, and Unbreakable (by Fireflight) yesterday. I hope they come soon :D

GtG, haha, I might not join right now, because they're discussing whether or not those boards are even gonna stick around - they started a new SF community sort of thing, but it hasn't quite opened yet. But the rumor is that once it opens, the boards will be closed. I hope not! :S

Aslans Country, we've missed ya!
I love Walls too. Yeah, I know what you're saying, the beginning is really pretty. Ohh yeah, that is the album cover. I thought the concept was really cool, but they didn't pull it off as well as they could have. Here Bryce explains the concept: http://www.altpress.com/news/8375.htm

Do you really like it a LOT better than Five Score? Hehe, I have a hard time deciding which of the two I prefer. It does have more emotional and deep songs though, whereas Five Score has a few more that are just happy and sugary. Haha, The Only Thing Worse than Beating a Dead Horse is Betting On One. It's got some clever lines in it but it is kinda weird :P
Yay for iTunes cards! Hmm... well, if you liked MMHMM better than Five Score, I think you'd like F&NSD. But, I'd listen to it first before buying it. On youtube this one dude with the username "imsoboredidk" has uploaded all of it so you can listen there. Their older stuff is a lot goofier, less refined in terms of musical material and yet at the same time in their older albums their lyrics mention Jesus/God a lot more so I like them for that reason...
That stinks that Ocean Eyes isn't available! :'(
Oh, thank you! I was really excited! ;))

ugh I just joined this morning!

I think MMHMM and Five Score have the same amount of awesomenes...I think I mentioned that somewhere... :D

Oh yeah I loved imsoboredidk for posting all those songs! That's all I had to listen to before Christmas! :p

I like the idea behind the cover art, I think it's the colors that throw me off. The orange and blue in the background make it a little blah...to me at least...

The Beautiful Letdown, definitely. Of course anything and everything by Switchfoot is amazing, but TBL is probably one of my favorite albums. Just my two cents :)

And oh wow guess what?? I met another SF junkie last night!! I was retelling the story of the time I ran around town singing The Beautiful Letdown, and my friend told me her brother loves Switchfoot. Of course I was happy; nobody I know appreciates Jon Foreman's talent :(( Of course all my friends are obsessed with Justin Bieber, so that might have something to do with it....

Anyhow, he told me I can't be obsessed unless I have Jon's solo CD. Whatever. I'm still relatively new to Switchfoot-ism anyway(just since August).

Oh annnd SF is gonna be on Jimmy Fallon Live!!! Of course I can't watch it(I'll be asleep by then), but I'll try to ccatch it on youtube.

Btw, The Pendragon did you already start the SF club??? I saw it in your siggy, but Edmund P hasn't responded to my PM yet.

Twenty- Four, The Beautiful Letdown, and Stars. They won't let you down, unless you don't like slow (24), Medium (The Beautiful Letdown), or fast (Stars) songs. :p

I am COMPLETELY obsessed with The Sound In My Mouth, from the Oh! EP. So cool... :x :x :x

GtG: don't worry, I'm not sure what they're doing in terms of the SF boards, so for right now, they're still there. :P
