I don't LOVE that song since I think it's been overplayed around here... I'm giving it a rest... But how do you think the lyrics are cheesy? Have you read/heard what they meant by them?

Queen Susan: I kinda think The Last Night is cheesy in the way that is message is repetitive. You feel like you've heard it (or read it or felt it) before. B/c they didn't really take a fresh approach to that girl's probelms. Do you know what I mean? Yeah, I guess those type of lyrics are used a lot. But I wouldn't call it cheesy.

My brother just said Adam Young sounded like a girl. Whatever. Just because you have a "high-ish" voice doesn't mean that. Oh well. He can think what he wants to.

since when is "The Last Night" cheesy? Skillet says the story behind it every time they sing it live: it's about a girl who hates herself and is told that all her family's problems are her fault and she wants to kill herself. but the song shows hope, that if she will give the Lord a second chance and run to him, it will be the very last night she will spend alone!

Libby: just b/c how many songs are like that? they're are so many songs about the same thing, and the lyrics are very unoriginal. i don't hate the songs, it's just not my favorite b/c it's so...i don't know how to describe it...i guess kinda deja vu (sp? ) -ish. just b/c it's so a message heard before. idk. the song gets old after a few plays...

Yeah, I had heard a few already... those two, The Shadow Proves the Sunshine, Stars, and Happy is a Yuppie word. Stars has the best intro ever
