yeah,
I quote a post Naiadwaker made and then edited to get that quote alone,
I just forgot to remove your name when from said quote.

I went and edited my post so that you didn't appear anymore ;)
Nothing I can do about Naiad's though.

I like classical, some country, Christian contemporary, and soundtracks!!!
I have most movie soundtracks. I listen to Brandon Heath, Casting Crowns, Jeremy Camp, Switchfoot, Chris Tomlin,Tenth Avenue North, Third Day, Lincoln Brewster, TobyMac, Steven Curtis Chapman, and, of course, the Narnia soundtracks!!!!! =))
In fact, as I write this, I'm listening to Wunderkind on the LWW soundtrack!! :D

I have some Bach, Beethoven that I love, among some other well known names that escape me.

Bach is a genius. He's like no other. He's not my favorite composer, but I gotta say he's definitely one of the best composers. I love his preludes and fugues.

Some of my other favorite composers are Mendelssohn, Rachmaninoff, Beethoven, Debussy, Schumann, and Brahms (don't tell my brother -- he is obsessed with Brahms and I pretend to hate Brahms just because he likes Brahms so much). =))

Every time someone says classical i think of sitting in one of those theaters wear you go to watch operas but people playing classical music on stage. I basically like punk pop and punk rock.

Well, I'm not a picky person when it comes to music. Punk rock is my favorite genre, but I also love classical (Bach, especially :) ). I understand what you mean, though. Classical music makes me think of that, too.

Oh, I heard the new Cobra Starship album. Honestly, I prefer their older stuff, but Hot Mess is pretty good.

I was listening to that song this morning. It's that or smile for the paparazzi that's my favorite cobra starship song.

Yes, "Smile for the Paparazzi" is great to.

I was in the mall, yesterday, and I saw a Cobra Starship tote, a Fall Out Boy t-shirt, a Panic! At the Disco sweat shirt... and I had no cash. :(( Oh, well, next time, maybe.

Oh I forgot to say, I also got to see Skillet live!

Seriously?!? Wow! Which songs did they play?? 😀

On the topic of Regina Spektor, the only song I've heard by her is "Laughing With". What did you all think of it?

Sanctus Real, anyone? If so, which songs? 😉

*listens to wisewoman sing "Walking in the Air", which QS heard for the first time today. So beautiful...*

I can only remember those of the Comatose CD, but I regret that I didn't stay for their full performance, they were of course the last to perform and it was late. I had two with me that had curfew so I left after I heard the songs I knew of theirs at the time. They were amazing though.

Sanctus Real is a great band, but not at all my favorite,
The Face of Love CD has a few songs that I like but none of them I love, the one I like most in that CD is I'm Not Alright which is the only great song off that one IMO.

I LOVE Everything About You from Fight the Tide,
and from their most recent I love those I have heard:
We Need Each Other, Whatever You're Doing, Eternal- the second definitely the best there.

I'm a long time fan of the Christian group Avalon. They released their first all original cd in awhile this past Tuesday. It is a tad too electronic for my tastes, but I really like it. California and Alive are probably my two favorite tracks off of Reborn at the moment.

Of course there is no topping their classic Testify to Love! :D

They have only a few songs which I can say that I love.
Testify to Love is one AMAZING song and I love it but it only ranks second from their songs. I much MUCH prefer their song: I Don't Want To Go.
