Hehe, I was listening to RK yesterday (I was listening straight through everything of theirs that I have, all 4.7 hours of it) and my sister came in. She sat down and said, "You know, even though I don't like Relient K, I have to hand it to Matt: he has a pretty good range."

It only takes you 4.7 hours to listen to everything you have of theirs? It would take me 6.2 hours to listen to all of mine. I haven't ever tired that before.
Hehe, that's funny about your sister though. I have a couple friends who absolutely hate Matt, mainly only because I like him so much. They won't even admit to him being an amazing singer...they just rant and rant about how dorky he looks and how he needs a haircut.

I havn't heard that song in years! I like it!

I heard Matt in Birds, it's so obvious I can't believe I didn't recognize his voice before.

I like that song too! The guitars at the beginning are so cool. It has a really great message - I especially love the line, "the enemy is much ignored when we fight this Christian civil war." It's actually a very meaningful song.

Hehe, hopefully I will too. Like once I can get their one album that I don't yet have. (Relient K). And then finish off the 3 songs on the Apathetic EP. I still won't have all their music yet, though. I will need to find somewhere to get a hold of "All Work And No Play" (their first EP release).. ha ha just kidding. I actually think Matt sounds horrible in their first release. Look it up on youtube... I'm not a fan of old RK

So about his hair... I think it looks a lot better when it's way too long than when it's a little to short. I mean, seriously!?!?!? No. The short hair is not workin' for me. I think it looks best sorta medium longish like in the Must Have Done Something Right music video, and basically in all the album art for Five Score. Now John Warne, he wins the prize for the awesomest hair in Relient K.

I see Kate mentioned Seabird, I have been listening to them a bit on last.fm and I really like them. At first I wasn't sure what to think of them because I have a couple friends who heard them live w/ David Crowder Band and they didn't like Seabird at all.

I think the hair that I always think of him having is in this one interview I saw him in, and I can't really get a different picture in my head. It was longish, and didn't look too bad. By that I mean not HORRIBLE! I'm really behind on Relient K, is that a recent picture of him?

EXACTLY!!!! That's why I love poetic stuff, and you have sit down and listen to it a few time, go over it in your head. And one day it just hits you, and then it means a lot.

I actually like Matt's hair how it is now... long and in his face. During the concert he kept on like flipping his head backwards to get his hair out of his face, it was funny . I like best like that. In the pic you posted kat he actually looks kinda creepy to me .

My mom is the same way. She kept on saying that they (RK) weren't glorifying God (or whatever) at the concert b/c they only sang a few of their "Christian" songs and never talked about God. But in their defense they were singing most of the time. Really the only time they talked was to introduce some songs...

I absolutley love the Casting Crowns song I downloaded the other day. The way they sing "I heard the Bells on Christmas Day" is great!

MissA: Seabird is most definitely worth listening to. Their first album is just superb. Their piano sections are some of the best I've heard in modern music ("Apparitions") and their melodies range from poignant to funky, but almost all of them are great. Favorites of mine include "Apparitions," "Black & Blue", "Not Alone", and "Cottonmouth (Jargon)".

um, I don't really like Matt's hair.....he looks TOO feminine.....

I agree with your two cents, Liberty. I do not like it when guys look feminine, especially because of something like a hairstyle that can be changed. I liked Matt's hairstyle for the Be My Escape music vid best; he looked really good. And now I had better stop typing.
