the comp crashed the day after I bought them and I didn't have them on a CD/iPod yet . Hopefully emailing them will work.
My brother is about 18 months. He LOVES music. It's funny b/c during the slower parts he'll just kinda move back and forth and when the guitars kick in he starts jumping up and down, so cute!
Since y'all have talked about Owl City so much and Fireflies is the current top song on the Zune Marketplace, I decided to go ahead and buy it. I really like it. It's weird, in a cute way and is absurdly catchy. I think I'll check out the rest of his music.
I'm currently annoyed with my Wal-Mart. Not only did they not get in the two-disk special edition of Memento Mori, they didn't have Sara Groves' new CD today.

Aww.. that makes it a million times more adorable.

I got Sara Groves new cd yesterday, but I haven't heard it all the way through. I heard the first song and I liked it. It was a little softer than her other stuff, but good.
That's so cute about your little bro Gtg!:p little kids are so adorable!
@Hathaway Standalone: I love your avie! I recognize it from the LOBH graphics page. I downloaded all of their graphics!
Fireflies is really catchy! I didn't really like it at first, but it kinda grew on me.

Yeah, when I got Fireflies it was the free single of the week on iTunes(thanks Kate! ) so I wasn't expecting it to be good. (I mean, usually the free singles really stink ) So at first I was like, meh. But it really grew on me. If I had heard it for the first time more recently, I would have expected to like it more, since it's so popular now
I just listened to Casting Crowns' new CD once. Sadly, I was not impressed very much like I was when I heard Lifesong for the first time. There were a couple tracks that stood out, but even right now I can't remember them. The lyrics were great! The music was just kind of the same sound CC has had for a while... and I was hoping for something new. In fact, the title track may be the furthest departure from their usual sound. I was hoping more of them would be like that. (The last track was a little odd...)
I have to say that I adore CC for their lyrics, and not necessarily for their musical style. Some Christian bands tend to be like that, not that I really mind though.
That's too bad you didn't like it, Kat. I was hoping this one would be different too. I listened to more Sara Groves songs from her new album, and I was kinda dissapointed because (not that I object to it), but they were basically all songs about marriage. And she usually doesn't do that. Oh well.

Jon Foreman and Switchfoot,
I've opted not to listen to Hello Hurricane just yet. I am listening to what I already had from them previously though.
I'm on the EP's at the moment, (and the two singles I had previously).
The EP's, I've only listened to Fall so far and am greatly enjoying the feel of the Cd. My favorite song of the 6 is: The Cure For Pain.
Oh,wow,I've been away too long.
narnian1:Yeah,I did go a bit overboard. But,hey,all things considered,I think I showed a fair amount of self-restraint.
Kat: Thanks for adding me! Ooh,I'll have to look her up! BTW, did you get to enter the TRS contest?
I was tempted to change my location to "Where the Streets Have No Name" earlier. I can be so corny sometimes.
TP, well, usually I love CC's musical style... I love how they incorporate strings into the rock texture. But, I just want something new.
narnian1, whaat! Okay, well listen to it as soon as you can I feel like I should be listening to more old Switchfoot before I get obsessed with their new album... but I'm kinda lazy
Lark, you're welcome! Yes, I did enter, we'll see what happens...
Btw, I joined the Switchfoot forums a couple days ago. The people are there are SO nice! It made me happy! They're much kinder than the people on the Relient K forums overall. Hmm...

I've gone overboard lately myself. Just this Tuesday I had my own personal Christmas with all the things that arrived and I'm still waiting for one more thing.
(and it's not presents that I bought, but things for myself- movies and music)

yeah I know, but i'm doing what you're kinda lazy to do
I'm falling in love with previous works first. But I am sticking with Jon Foreman's solo projects, and Cd's: Beautiful Letdown, Nothing is Sound, Oh Gravity; also This is Home of course. Anything before that that has been recommended will have to wait until after Hello Hurricane.
I've already fallen in love with many songs from those three Cds combined,
songs I didn't know I had and now I simply love them:
On Fire, Circles, The Blues to name a few from Switchfoot.
and I've already previously mentioned which Jon Foreman songs it is.
The Pendragon: is Sara Groves new CD good? because my mom is really into her music!

Booky: Glad you liked Fireflies! I would suggest "Meteor Shower" by Owl City--it's probably my favorite one--partly for the lyrics.
