Wow, 12 plays already. ;)) That sounds like me when I get obsessed with a new song. :P
Thanks for the link The Pendragon! There are tons of downloads on that page, yay! I just downloaded Just Rob Me and will listen in a minute...
I actually really like the movie version of This Is Home. Even though it doesn't have the "chorus" it has that one part several times that I love (every day starts w/ a magic spark etc) that only occurs once in the soundtrack version.

Edit: Wasn't a fan of just rob me...
I did download a BUNCH of others though, I really like Daylight to Break!

They had CC's new CD at the sale for only $8.88 but my mom got Selah's CD instead...grrr X( . I almost bought the CD for her for X-mas a little bit ago but it was not on the cheap side ;) so I got her Amy Grant, which was on sale :p .

I got my 13 year old sister Britt Nicole's new CD and the younger four of Jump 5's (they're similar to PureNRG but it was only $5.99 for all four CDs and it was $8.99 for each of PNRG's... ;;) ).

Has anyone gone to WinterJam? It's only $10 at the door and tons of bands are there. I want to go so bad (Kat, TAN's gonna be there! :D ) but the closest it'll be is like OH X( :(( . I hate living in New England...ok well maybe I don't but in the concert aspect, I do.

Thanks for the link to the Switchfoot site, The Pendragon!
I haven't heard that many of their songs, but I have their 'The Best Yet' CD of all their hits, and I downloaded Acoustic versions of the songs I know and stuff. :)

I don't like the movie version of "This is Home" too much.. I keep waiting for the 'this is home.. ymwhisle' and it doesn't come. :p
But I downloaded it and I'll listen to it, because I only hear it whenever I watch PC.
Edit: I've listened to it, and I kinda like it.. but I'm so used to the other one that it feels like they just substituted in different lyrics or something. :p

I've only heard two of their song though...

Listen to more then! ;) Just kidding ;)) ..

*random comment*
I've been listening to Fireflies.. and at first I didn't really get what the fuss was about, and it seemed kinda weird.. but it's growing on me. :D

Yeah, I think Fireflies does grow on you. :) After I heard it once or twice I had it stuck in my head for one or two days straight. ;))

About WinterJam: It sounds fun! And usually they have one in our area--about half an hour away actually. But since it's usually on a Sunday I think, we're not usually able to go. I guess my family doesn't usually go to concerts on Sunday unless they're free... I don't know if Dad would give his nod of approval. ;) And I'm not sure I'd want to anyway. ;))
So who knows. *shrug*

Yeah, I mentioned winterJam a few posts back, I'm really looking forward to it! They're coming to Des Moines which isn't terribly far from me in January. So yeah... but that's too bad GtG :( Maybe you can fly to Iowa and meet me :P QS, that would be awesome if you could come, and we could meet each other :D (just a crazy thought hehe)
oh, and narnian1 mentioned that Third Day is probably the best of those groups there, I think maybe they are but I certainly don't like them the best just because the radio plays their songs sooooo much I have gotten sick of them...sort of. ;))

Meeting you would be awesome... ;)) I just don't know if my brothers would want to drive that far. ;) The one around here last year was actually in NE... :p

lol I'd love to Kat! But I don't know... :p . I'd really like to meet you though, my dad was just saying to tell you that if you're ever somewhere in New England to come up here... ;) .

My little bro is so funny- he loves Fireflies. Whenever I put it on he starts dancing, it's hilarious! (and I caught my mom singing it the other day! :D )

Does anyone know how to retrieve stuff that you've bought off of iTunes. I bought some songs and then my comp crashed on this new comp it shows that I bought it (on my iTunes account) but it's not in my library. :(

Guys, there are 30 second previews of the new songs from CC's album here: http://new.music.yahoo.com/programs/earlyedition/#
yay!

Although at this point we can just get it tomorrow... :P

QS, ah so not the one in Iowa. That's too bad. :P
GtG, that is adorable about your little brother! ;))
Oh goodness, that stinks! There's no way to re-download them, you're only allowed to download them once. Are you sure they're lost forever? This is why it's a good idea to back up music... :( If you really can't find them, send Apple an e-mail explaining that you lost your music downloads. Usually they will let you download them again, 'cause they see your receipt and have proof that you bought them already.

you mind if I brag a little about already having the CD, since Saturday mind you? ;))

In all seriousness though it's a great Cd,
some songs I already love while others I need to warm up to, but it's definitely worthy of the Casting Crowns collection.

I bought the Altar and the Door and I really enojoyed it so I'm sure I'd like this new one.

Thanks for the tips Kat, I 'll try emailing them. I'm sure I can't get them though because I didn't burn them on CDs and the comp that broke was actually and external hardrive :( . And they don't make it anymore so I'll just have to see if the email works...do you by chance have their email :D ;) .

There's a contest on CBD right now to win CC's mastertrax collection on an iTouch- here's the link http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/ ... ipods_trax . :)

So, I go to Best Buy to get my $10 copy of Hello Hurricane only to find out that all 100 copies have already sold out. The ride home was a little sad. Not that I haven't been listening to several songs through my friend YouTube... ;) But anyway, I hope to get the real thing very soon. *wants to steal MissAravis' av/sig set to commemorate the CD's release*

I'm not too excited about the latest RK release. But then again I didn't like Five Score when I first heard it. Or Mmhmm, either. So I suppose I'll have to give it a chance.

lol, how old is your little brother? I'm trying to imagine how one would dance to Fireflies and it's looking pretty strange in my head. =)) That's so cute though. :)

That's awful about your music, I would be so sad if that happened to me. :( Don't you have the songs (at least some of them) on an iPod or something? I hope you can get them back. And I'm gonna back mine up or something before this happens to me. :p

I lost all my music when my computer caught a virus. all was lost, even the computer. I have laptop now. I was able to get my music since I had it on my ipod. To get it unto the laptop though I needed to buy this software that transferred it. it was nearly 1000 songs, Spanish and English, along with some movies and shorts.

The software only cost $20,
but the free trial allows you to do 250 transfers for free.

EDIT:

well I just received a call from home,
my Jon Foreman EPs and my Switchfoot Hello Hurricane Cd arrived today. FINALLY!

I will be sure to post my thoughts as soon as I get to listen to them :D

I always put my music from itunes on CD's just so they're somewhere other than my ipod and laptop.
Haha, I do that too (listen to songs on youtube), the 30 second clips aren't long enough to get the feel of a song.
