Wow, okay I think I officially love Amazon. ;))
If anyone likes punk rock/powerpop Amazon has the song "Tell Me I'm a Wreck" by Every Avenue for free, and it's pretty good.
Edit: just found another free download of "fire on the inside" by Pillar. I rather like Pillar, but I still need to listen to the song to see if I like it..lol
Edit again: it's a tad too heavy for me. ;))
Ahh, I really want to join the RK fanclub, but I think my mom would think it was a waste of money. :P

*off topic: Lark, what is your avatar of? :)*

ooh I know Lark's avatar! It's from the BBC Robin Hood- that's Maid Marian.

Gtg is right. I'm glad you like it. :) I didn't make itthough. I have currently zero talent in making graphics. ;))

the avatar is Matt's facebook profile picture, except it was in black and white so I colored it (I'm such a stalker :P) =))

Hey,do you think he'll accept a friend request from anybody? :p lol

Last night me and my little sis sped up songs on her laptop. It was hysterical!! =)) Especially the TAN songs. ;)) :p

MissA:How much does it cost to join?

Me and my sister's do that all the time! We sometimes put a funny song to another music video or movie, and it turns out really funny sometimes! :p

I know what you mean about the fan club MissA! I wanna join the SF fan club Friends of the Foot, but my mom and dad definitely won't pay for it. It's 50$ a year, but I think it's a really good deal for everything you get! 10% off the merch all the time, extra DVD's and bonus stuff, but most of all...
a pass that lets you meet them at shows. You skip the lines and go hang out with them! then they email you the place of the aftershow, and you and a few other people get to see them o an acoustic performance after the concert. I think it's worth the money.
Last night I heard a B. Reith songs called Just For You, adnd I thought it was really good! He didn't rap, he just sang! yes! :p I prefer his singing to his rap.

It's $30 per year to join the RK fanclub. Maybe it's a little expensive but you get alot of cool stuff (a free t-shirt when you first join, among other things)!

TP: that does sound like a good deal. I wish RK had more concerts around here b/c I get a meet and greet pass too :( . I think I have to listen to some SF stuff, you guys all seem pretty hyped, lol. :p

Just jumping in again here (I've been lurking since my last post, and thanks so much for the recommendations! I just didn't have anything else to say besides that. )...

Sunday night I went to a Starfield concert. In case nobody has heard of them, their music is somewhere between TAN and Chris Tomlin. They led the music at a youth conference I went to that was pretty amazing and helped redirect my life towards God. :) That was about a year and a half ago, so news that they had a conert in my area was exciting. It was great, and they're recording a new CD!! *is happy!* I'd hoped we hear some new material from them but sadly not. The opening band was awesome! Has anyone ever heard of Article One? I hadn't before, but I love their music, though how much of that is due to the awesome violinist (Yes! Violinist! I was in awe! ) I'm not sure. ;)) I love their song Say it Again.

^
I find it really hard to post coherently about music I like... I'm so sorry if that was all just confusing/rambling nonsense.

*ducks out again and returns to lurking*

She hoped to be wise and reasonable in time; but alas!
She must confess to herself that she was not wise yet.

;)) Obviously not. :P

Oh, cool! Maybe I should join the Owl City community or whatever. ;)) But I've already joined the Relient K forums and absolute punk ..(and last.fm for that matter) and I think if I have any more forums to keep up with, I'll go nuts...

Starfield... I've listened to a couple songs on last.fm , and from what I remember I liked them :)
Don't worry Maddy your post totally makes sense! :D

Well, I like SF just because there music is really my style. I rambled on about them a few pages back, so you can read that if you want. I'll try to put a song of theirs every few days on my sig. Its usually the rhapsody or youtube version.

TP: yeah I read your post. I've heard some of their stuff but not much.

That's so sweet! awesome! Lol, I love looking at famous people's twitters...

GtG, I hate to say this, but I wouldn't recommend joining the Rk forums. ;)) I don't get on very frequently because the people there are very cliqueish(if you can imagine that on the internet) and look down upon newbies, they basically have the attitude of "I've been on this forum longer and all the newbs have no right to come in here."... so there's tons of inside jokes and stuff that I don't understand, and if you try to post something you usually get ignored. There are a few nice people, but overall it's disappointing. Anyway, if you still want to join, my username is "one last thing" (taken from "there was no thief"). :P

Anyway, this post is kinda off topic, so I'll just throw in that my mom LOVES Switchfoot's Dare You To Move. ;)) She used to talk about how un-Christian SF was or whatever, :-s but now she totally loves the song... hee.

Aw, that's too bad about the RK forums! :( I'm not on any other forum, so I haven't gotten that bad of an experience. And Narnia Web is of course the best forum out there! :D

That's cool that your mom like DYTM! my mom is still a bit unsure of it. Even though I show her all of their songs! They're just a little too fast for her. and she prefers songs that spell out everything! She doesn't get the poetic stuff! :p

Yeah, he's great! I'll have to check that out! :P Sounds fun! And this is random, but they don't really look a whole lot like brothers. The 3 of them look pretty different. ;))

It's on their myspace page too (the video). The way he bounces when he's playing is amusing! ;)) He gets into it at times. ;)
No, they don't look very much alike. ;)) Jarrod and Darren look a little bit like each other, but Seth doesn't look like either of the others (although, he does look a lot like a couple of my friends :P ).
Oh, and they have twitters if you're interested.

This is random, but last night I was sitting at my keyboard (piano, that is), and playing just whatever popped into my head, and then I played this little part that sounded like the chorus of "Forget and Not Slow Down", so I ended up playing the chorus of the song. ;)) I've heard it maybe five times. :P My thought was "Kat would be happy!". ;)

And now I just finished listening to "Fuzzy Blue Lights"... I was talking with Dj/Djaq earlier, and I mentioned some of my favorites, but forgot to mention that one. :D

Ah, that one is pwettyful!! :D

Is it just me, or do some of his titles seem like lipstick shades? :p When I saw Strawberry Avalanche, the first thing I thought of was lipstick! :p

LOL! ;)) I had never noticed that, but now that you mention it...yeah! :P

Anyway, this post is kinda off topic, so I'll just throw in that my mom LOVES Switchfoot's Dare You To Move. ;))

That is probably my favorite song of theirs that I have heard!! :D Sooo beautiful! Your mom has good taste. ;)

Has anyone here heard of Sean Watkins? I'm mentioning him because there seems to be a lot Jon Foreman fans here. :P Sean was in a band called Nickel Creek (sound familiar, Kat? ;) ) awhile back, and then they sort of took a break, and then he started a side-project with Jon Foreman called Fiction Family (see? It connects! :P ). I haven't heard very many of their songs, but I just thought that I'd tell y'all. ;))
Oh, and Nickel Creek is pretty cool too! ;)

This weekend, I am hopefully going to see one of my favorite violinists in concert! David Klinkenberg!! :D I've seen him once before (with Jim Brickman), and he was amaaaazing! :)
Anyway, I shall stop boring you all. :)

Ahh.. lucky!! They're awesome. I can't wait for the new CD. I wish I knew when it was coming out..

I know noone here is really interested, but I have to mention that Lifehouse's new album "Smokes and Mirrors" is coming out next month, and I'm really excited. :D Although I don't love the single.. so I'm kinda worried they've changed style. :-s

Well,
I like three of Lifehouse's songs: You and Me, Everything, Broken.
all three are amazing songs. i'll have to check that new Cd then, didn't realize they were working on a new CD, (maybe because I don't follow them like I do others).
