I'd better get them then! :D I've heard clips of them both and read the lyrics and they seem great! I'm glad you like it!

EDIT: I just got them, and I'm listening to Broken From The Start. It's so sad! But beautiful!

exactly! it's both things in one, I can't describe it perfectly myself but one i Tune review called it "hauntingly beautiful" and I think that's the prefect description.

yeah! Broken From The Start sounds like Love Isn't Made, off of Spring. The voices in the background, which he does a lot, are so beautiful!
I just looked at which songs are in each album, and my favorites from Fall are the 1st (The Cure For Pain), 2nd (Southbound Train, which he actually did write on a south bound train! :p), 4th (Equally Skilled, which was taken from Micah 7), and 6th (My Love Goes Free, which is absolutely the most beautiful song you could ever imagine! I almost cried the first time I heard it! :-o )
The 3rd (Lord, Save Me From Myself) is okay, but it's kinda not really for my age range (I'm a kid!:p ), and I've only heard it a few times.

Jon does tend to write songs that are hauntingly beautiful! Some of his songs are so indescribable, and you know that he's certainly got a gift!

I'll be sure to post here which are my favorite songs of the EP's,
I've decided to listen to them in the order he released them, beginning with Fall and ending with Summer. I am assuming there was a reason for this specific order, if not- it's ok.

I didn't think about the specific order thing. ;)) I have a list of all the first songs on each album together, then second all together, etc. If that makes any sense. I know that for Switchfoot albums, each one sounds like a journey, and I like having those in order. Also, the Nothing Is Sound and Oh! Gravity albums have the songs endings sound the same, so when it goes to the next song, it doesn't feel like you've switched songs, but like they flow together. I really like that!

I'll be sure to post here which are my favorite songs of the EP's,

Oh, thank you! I would love your feed back! :D

If you like Relient K at all, be sure you watch the podcast of Woodland Forest with the squirrel. So funny.

Does anyone here like Muse or MuteMath?

I heard Fireflies, and I really liked it!
That video was so funny! I love it when Matt says, "I don't have any cabbages, well maybe one!" It's so random! :p

Hehe--I just watched the "Woodland Forest Episode 1" thing, and "Oh Holy Nightmare"--which had me laughing out loud in 2 parts. ;)) Oooooh dear.
I wonder who sang it--all it says is "some crazy guy"--no wonder that's all they put down. ;))

Edit: I just heard "The Christmas Song" by Owl City-- I really like it!!! :D I didn't know for sure whether or not he was a Christian--but from this song it sounds like it, which makes me happy. :D

=)) Oh gosh, I can't believe I haven't seen those episodes before. ;)) Thanks so much for sharing, Kate. I was laughing so hard!

Oh yeah, Adam Young is very open about being a Christian. :) Another one of his songs that reflects this is Meteor Shower- look it up - it's very short but really pretty and I love the lyrics!

Switchfoot's new album comes out today!!
*starts humming "Mess of Me"*

I haven't heard "Metor Shower" yet. I'll look it up on last.fm or youtube. I've heard "Strawberry Avalanche" "Fireflies" and "Hello Seattle." All amazing songs. Adam's really talented.
