Daylight, I love all of those artists, except Mandy Moore ( )! Whats your favorite Needtobreathe song? Have you ever listened to Lecrae? He's my favorite Christian hip-hop/rap artist.
Some of the artists I've been listening to a lot lately: Keith Urban (I've loved his album Defying Gravity since it was released, but I just got into it again ), The Afters (Never Going Back to Ok--amazing album), Colbie Caillat, Future of Forestry (imagine a Christian Coldplay--this is them. ), and I've really been enjoying TRS's new album (never would have bought it if you guys hadn't talked about it on here! ) especially "Nothing Matters" and "Pull Myself Together (Don't Hate Me)".

@Daylight:Needtobreathe rocks! I love their music! I like Jordin Sparks too,and Jason Derulo has a nice voice, but I don't like his song "Watcha Say." I'll elaborate later on why, right now I gotta go to a basketball game.
@HelloHurricane: Yay! Another Keith Urban fan! I don't have that album, but I really want it. I like the song on there called "'Til Summer Comes Again." It's really sad,but pretty,I think.
Yes you should post here more often! I've never heard of Future of Forestry. I'll check 'em out though.
Glad you like TRS's new album. I like those songs too! Espescially "Pull Myself Together(Don't Hate Me)" And the less popular "Japanese Exchange Student" it's so fun!
MissA, I'm glad I got it, too! Yeah, I thought that was awesome--its a cool poem, too (I think so, at least ). That's one of my favorites, too. I also love Hills of Indigo Blue.
Lark, Its his best album yet by far, in my opinion! It has a really "Summery" feel to it...if that makes sense. The music and lyrics for every song just make me think of Summer...maybe I'm just crazy, though. Yeah, "'Till Summer Comes Around" is a sad song, but it has some of my favorite vocals on the album.
Haha, I'll try! You definitely should look up some FoF songs...I love them!
Yeah, I like that one, too! And every review of the album that I've read says that its one of the weakest songs on it, but I totally disagree! It has a great message wrapped in a really fun song, I think! The only song I don't really like is "Tara, I'm Terrible".

Kate: there are maybe 150 people. It's a home church. Everyone is really conservative and most don't even listen to any music besides hymns and maybe classical. There's one family that listens to some music but not much at all and they criticize it alot.
welcome Daylight!
too bad about the limited voting I want RK to win!
HH: yay I'm glad you got TRS's new album! I love it so much, it's awesome !
I am totally obsessed with 2 songs right now....
Deathbed by RK & Healing Begins by TAN!
The 10th ave song is SO good! The song seems to be based more on strings than anything else, & it's got a very epic feeling to it. It almost has the feel of Coldplays Viva la Vida. My sister & I are starting to choreograph a dance to it! I'm really excited about their new album!
I never thought that I would be so obsessed with this song, but Deathbed is absolutely amazing!! I love some of the lines, & the musical theme is beautiful. It's so funny, the first time I heard it, I was like "it would take SO long to memorize this song! I could never do that!" Hehe. well, I have the whole thing basically memorized now, & it wasn't that hard.

I had a friend once who only listened to classical music. I felt so bad for her cause she was taught that all other music was like "evil" or something. I think I would die if I had to only listen to classical! I'm glade you still like music!

TP: Yes I feel so bad for people like that. I asked one of my friends if she likes music and she said "oh yes! I love Beethoven, Back, Mozart, and lots of other composers!" It's kind of sad, people are missing out on alot of good music . I would die too! I've told my parents several times that I won't marry anyone who doesn't like music at least half as much as I do (people in our church tend to marry other people in the church, or from similar churches. And like I said, hardly anyone likes the music I like, so um yeah) .
On the other hand, I'm glad you like Deathbed so much! It's an awesome song. When I first heard it I got obsessed with it for like 3 months. It was practically the only song I listened to
Yeah, I'm not gonna marry anyone who doesn't like music! With me being so obsessed, it just wouldn't work! Those people ARE missing out on good music.

3 months? wow! It's been 3 days for me. I don't know why, but all of sudden last Wednesday, the line "The year was 1941, I as 8 years old & far, far too young", kept popping in my head. I didn't know then next line, so I looked up the lyrics, & have been hooked ever since. I've listened to it at least 5 times in the past days!
(I just discovered that pretty little rose! I like it! *will probably use more often...*)

Could someone post a link to the DoveAward voting site? For some reason the link on the site isn't working, so I'm wondering if one of you guys post it, maybe it'll work.
Avatar by Wunderkind_Lucy!
yeah the link on the site didn't work for me either. I just had another link I used through twitter
That link brings me to the place to vote but for some reason or other my comp won't let me vote . Oh well.
TP: lol (about Deathbed) . Certain lines in the song do tend to stick out. I repeat certain phrases alot . Like, "So right there you have it that one filthy habit is what got me where I am today" I repeat that lines over and over sometimes , I just like the way it sounds, I guess .
Ok, thank you so much, narnian1!

I am now the proud owner of Forget and not Slow Down by Relient K!! I listened to the whole CD last night and it just blew me away. I love it! Right now I really like "This is the End(If You Want it)" and "Therapy". But the whole Cd has really blown me away.
@HelloHurricane: His best? Wow, I'll put it on my list of CD's to buy then. (which,I'll admit has gotten rather long. ) Do you like any other country groups? I like Rascal Flatts and that one song "Runaway" by Love and Theft.(have't heard any of their other songs though. )
I've only listened to "Thinking of You" so far(stupid busy weekends. ),but I like it and can't wait to check out more of their music.
Well,he wrote "Tara,I'm Terrible" for really only one person, and I'm pretty sure it isn't you,so it's acceptable that you don't like it.
Ali and Pendragon,I totally agree. Whe I was younger and first heard of Relient K(not heard their music though ),I though their music was "evil".
*has never listened to Deathbed* I've heard it's really good though. Going to check it out soon. But not now. Church is soon.
^^you should listen to Deathbed! It's one of thier best songs . Yay that you got FANSD!!!! (I know I already told on our PM but still, yay for you! it's a great buy!)
Here's a link to an article with the Top 5 Christian songs ad of 3/6/10.

Now Hear This has a Winter 2010 sampler up for only $2.49! It has 14 songs from bands like Seabird, The Letter Black, Luminate, Above the Golden State, and Robby Seay Band. I think it's a great deal. I bought their previous sampler which Kat posted a link to earlier as well
MercyMe has a new single available called "All of Creation" from their upcoming album. I haven't heard it yet but I bought it.
Did anyone read the review of OMAA on The Album Project? They gave it a 2/5!!! I hope you didn't write that review Kate
Haha Glenstorm. No, I didn't. I've only written two album reviews and a show review. You can tell who wrote them because it says at the bottom. If it doesn't say who it's by, then it's by Tyler who founded the site and has written everything contained in it except for the other new writer Jared's 4 reviews and my 2. Keep in mind that every album is just the opinion of the reviewer. It seemed to me from reading the review that Tyler had high expectations that the album didn't meet and so the poor rating was due to disappointment.
Speaking of The Album Project, my review of Queens Club's album is up here. I think they were supposed to be a sort of more sophisticated, indie Family Force 5, but the album was terrible.
Yeah, I'm not gonna marry anyone who doesn't like music!
You guys are cute.
Lark: Just curious, but why did you think it was "evil?"
