A while back it was rumored that he was, but the production confirmed, I believe before filming even started, that he wasn't going to be in the film.

As of this point in time, Dr. Cornelius will NOT be in the movie. He was clearly going to be at one point in time, but the character ended up being cut from the film. I'm going to go ahead and lock this thread unless we get any further evidence of him being in the film aside from the cryptic hints Ernie Malik gave AC (which I don't interpret to be anything more than Ernie joking around).
