I love the way Eustace losing his dragon skin thing and he couldn't do it himself portrays how we can't do things on our own we have to have God to help them, we are nothing without Him!

yeah, i really like that too. I think that's exactly why Lewis wrote that scene the way he did, and why he chose to word things the way that they are written.
"I'm a beast I am, and a Badger what's more. We don't change. We hold on. I say great good will come of it... And we beasts remember, even if Dwarfs forget, that Narnia was never right except when a son of Adam was King." -Trufflehunter
Oh yeah! the undragoning is one of my favorit sceens in the whole series!
I also love the way it's discribed to hurt, but at the same time it feels incredibly good! It's just like how it feels, when God takes our sin away.
It does hurt (our pride) very much, to give in and acknowledge that we are sinners and repent.
but having all this stupid stuff, that has been bothering you for so long, been taken away.
I just love the way c.s. lewis realy always finds the perfekt words for EVERYTHING!
Anna Popplewell (Susan) just announced that she only appears in a "teeny tiny fraction" of the movie, so it sounds like it is just going to be a cameo appearance.

where did you see that?^

I'm glad that Anna only has a small role in VDT, she's just not a main character and she really shouldn't have a part that is any more than a cameo. This is nothing against her, but the way the story goes! And I really, really, REALLY hope that they get Eustace's undragoning right in the movies. It is such a strong spiritual scene.

Yeah, you're right Trufflehunter. Susan shouldn't be there, but I guess they really were used to being together as a family that's why they did it, oh well. Good luck on VDT!
"Two sides of the same coin"
My favorite part had to have been when the magician appeared from the the table, that was super cool!
I agree that Susan shouldn't be in it, I'm annoyed how they have her be so nice in PC, when she's slowly falling away!! how are they going to work that in now?

Gosh! Doesn’t anyone ever read the Books?
One: There was NEVER any battles fought in the entire book.
Two: The White Queen was NEVER even mentioned at all.
Three: Caspian did not go with Reepicheep, Lucy, Edmund and Eustace to the
edge of the world.
And I thought Disney was bad.

Er, I'm pretty sure everyone on this site has read the books. That's kind of why we're here.
That said, your points of contention have been discussed many times over on these boards. Check out the previous pages in this thread.
Speaking for myself, I have always been forgiving of book-to-film adaptations because I recognize that narratives don't always perfectly translate from one medium to another.
"A man can no more diminish God's glory by refusing to worship Him than a lunatic can put out the sun by scribbling the word 'darkness' on the walls of his cell." (C.S. Lewis, The Problem of Pain)
Of course the White Queen was never mentioned. This is Narnia, not Wonderland.
I think we should just wait for it, maybe it will turn out to be a great one? Even if the white witch is there. Let's just think positive, since they already have placed her there and got nothing to do about it.

Not sure if this is the place to put it, but the Narnia 3 trailer (the first one, not the "Dairy of a Wimpy Kid" one) was played in front of "The Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga'Hoole". I was happy to see it there
whoa, another trailer? ^ That's awesome! Is it in youtube?
