I'm not worried about the "destiny" line. I think it is someone discussing the voyage at the end that Reep takes with him.

I don't mind the older siblings passing on their weapons, as long as it doesn't become a trend for each generation of Narnian kings/queens to have their weapons, that's just ridiculous. With Ed and Lu it's okay because they're family, but besides that as much as I'd miss Susan's bow or Rhindon, it's time to let them go after VODT!

Trailer number 1 and 2 has its own descriptions, meaning the first, we get to see further details of the story, while the other, we get to hear King Caspian's voice(if it was really his) and Lucy in the magician's room. that's all I can say.

I went back and rewatched the trailers for the first two movies. At first, I was under the impression that the shots of Aslan roaring before the logo is presented were made just for the trailer, but they aren't! So, now I have to really take the shot of Aslan roaring in the VDT trailer seriously! I think it is at the end of the movie when he meets the children in his country. The dark clouds most likely signify the destroying of the Dark Island?!?

That is a good idea. That he is opening the door into our world.

^^ oh! good point! and in that shot, Aslan is alone on the beach so maybe they are already on their way.....or the shot may just be for the trailer!

Well, the children could just be farther back out of the shot, I didn't necessarily feel that Aslan was alone on the beach, but I like the idea that he is opening the door into the sky!

Yeah it's a good idea, it would make sense for Aslan to be roaring for that purpose as the end. I can hardly think of any other reason. Or like Liberty said, it could just have been shot for the trailer.

Perhaps it's him acknowledging their victory on the voyage, whether it be the fact that they saved all 7 lords or defeated whatever darkness.

I think it very unlikely they would create a fake shot of Aslan roaring because it is so expense for them to create shots of Aslan.

^^ good point, but I have seen other trailers for other movies where they do something that isn't ever in the movie!
for example: the infamous "I am Prince Caspian" shot of Caspian in his armour in the PC trailer.....

I think Aslan's roar might have to do with Caspian coming along with Edmund, Lucy, Eustace and Reepicheep. Aslan may not appear in front of them when they first make land on the deserted area before reaching Aslan's Country. Edmund could be telling Caspian "Okay you've made it far enough you should go back to the Dawn Treader." And Caspian could start his temper there rather then slamming doors on a ship and Aslan roars at the situation.
