*sighs*

People also need to stop posting to lecture other members about how they can discuss the trailer. If it's not breaking the rules (and it isn't or I would have already clamped down on it), then just ignore it and move along. Quite frankly, this constant complaining is beginning to borderline on rudeness.

/:)

And as I've said several times before, this is NarniaWeb. There is nothing we won't over-analyze. ;))

*sighs along with Bookwyrm* I agree with what you said.

About Gael, the trailer did help us figure out a little bit more about how long she is going to be on the ship. Although we don't know where the dark island is going to be, but I would imagine that it would be closer to the end than the beginning.

I was actually surprised that Gael didn't make the trailer all that much. I thought she'd have a bigger role...

Eustace wasn't in the trailer much either. Caspian didn't speak at all. We can't judge the size of Gael's role by how much she was in the trailer.

For the sake of the fans and the general audience who doesnt want cute characters shove down their throats, I hope Gael's role gets edited down a bit. If they keep her screentime to what we saw in the trailer, I'll be happy.

Another long, in-depth video trailer analysis that discusses almost every shot!
Here is part 1 of 5:

Personally, I believe that we should stop making such harsh judgements about the trailer and just wait until we see the movie in five months.

If we can't make judgements about the trailer until the movie comes out, we might as well close this forum.

I'm not sure how you feel about Narnia, but it's safe to say that most people on a Narnia fansite deeply care about the film. It's not just a movie to us. We're going to be discussing the footage in this trailer for the next five months.

For the sake of the fans and the general audience who doesnt want cute characters shove down their throats, I hope Gael's role gets edited down a bit.

I think general audiences love cute/funny characters being shoved down their throat. :(

^Oh my, well I think I speak for most of us here on NarniaWeb when I say we certainly don't want a cute character taking all the light in this movie. Though I don't think her role will be that big (I only saw her in one shot in the trailer), you're right about general audiences, they feed off of the funny/cute characters in movies :((

No. I hate the Lucy little friend redundant theme. Every film. Really? Can't we just move on from that. No more cute little friends. I hope that she doesn't have a lot of lines even if she is a plot point.

I'm wondering how they'll wedge a cute little Lucy friend into TLB. ;))

Goodness. Don't encourage them.

Well i guess the solution is that they will bring back all of the dear little friends from previous films. I actually hope they do that. Well not Gael. I hope she just ends here with VotDT.

PS. No Last Battle spoilers. Don't give away the end.
