I think all the crew members are having their own different versions of their nightmares. Edmund is the only one seeing WW. She's not coming back to life, she's only a figment of the imagination.
I'm still hoping RD comes into the movie before Ramandu Island. Audiences needs to know Caspian is not in love with Susan.

I can't image Ramandu Island looking that dark and creepy after seeing the concept art of a beautiful almost golden green island with lots of waterfalls.
Firstly, it is at night so it could look like that. Most places look creepy, even if only a little bit, at night. Could you please link me to that concept art? I don't think I ever saw it but it sounds great.

I can't remember where i found it, but I will ask a moderator to post a link. But the tree Lilliandil stands in front of is creepy and nothing as I expected to be a very beautiful island (especially one that is very alive being closer to Aslan's own country and the tree has no leaves whatsoever). Not really a good place to stand for a good romance scenery between her and Caspian.
Edit: I managed to find the link to the picture. It's very tiny but you can still notice how very beautiful it is.

Cool pic. That hopefully means they will have Ramandu's island because I was kind of freaking out thinking they wouldn't have it. But then again there is concept art of scenes from the leaked script, which they obviously didn't use. I'll take the positive option here.

Yeah this picture was posted on NW during the filming of VDT.
So I say it's pretty legit.

I will say that I throughly enjoyed seeing the trailer. It looks different from the first two but that's probably because of a new DP and editor.
I love how everyone looks too, Lucy is older so is Caspian and Edmund, Reepicheep looks and sounds great, Ramandus Daughter is gorgeous (just she could lose some of that glow) seeing the White Witch really surprised me, but I like it and fits well to a nightmare on Dark Island. The Dawn Treader herself looks fascinating and I can't wait to see her sail in 3D. The Magican's book was exactly how I imagined it to look like. Everything looked great. Including the dufflepuds
I'm still thinking over the last part of Susan and Peter appaering in what seems to look like Narnia clothing. I'm not going to worry about this yet.
Sail on!
I like that picture of Ramandu's Island. It will look really good in the movie. I can't wait.

To me the tree and the whole setting looks almost evil, certainly not anything like what I would picture Ramandu's Island looking like. Also, I wonder if it's possible that they've reversed the shot? Maybe the natural order of it is Ramandu's Daughter descending from the sky and becoming human?
I was looking at the screencaps (again) and noticed the sailors behind Edmund in this shot: http://www.narniaweb.com/wp-content/upl ... 6/0042.jpg
What are they doing? It looks like they're not paying any attention to the green smoke. I had assumed that if the White Witch is Edmund's nightmare that she would actually "come to life" so to speak and everyone could see her. But based on this (and thinking back to how the nightmares are described in the book) I think Edmund is the only one who can see her.
yeah, you are right! in the book it is described in the book that they each are having their own nightmares and only each person can see his or her own dream!
so WW is only going to appear to Edmund, if it goes like the book!

Aww this time I saw a tear in Ed's eye. It has to be his nightmare, and I really want to see it! It could lead to teh Ed/Eustace conversation if Eustace isn't redeemed by then. I hope Eustace is, though.

Interesting thought. I went and checked it out, and I'm pretty sure it's not a reversed shot, as the way Lucy reacts when Lilliandil "explodes" doesn't seem to fit when you play it reversed; her expression and movement just doesn't seem natural, imo.

Thank you that is exactly what I was thinking too!
Although I think RD changing to a star is what's happening. Everyone steps back when she shoots up to the sky. I love how little Caspian moves, he barely moves back at all
If a shooting star came down to me I wouldn't move up to it at last second.

Okay, I waited until today to watch the trailer because I was waiting to see it on the big screen first. Then, surprise, it's not in front of Toy Story 3 at my theater. Ugh.
Kinda disappointed in the trailer. The entire marketing campaign has been very weak for Dawn Treader in my opinion. After watching the trailer, I felt less inclined to see the movie than before. I'm sure for non-Narnia fans, the feeling will be even worse.
I was prepared to see the white witch and the older Penvesies so that wasn't a big deal. Except for the fact that: "You shall never again return to Narnia, you are too old." "Oh, guess what? I lied!" Thanks Aslan.
Acting is also very weak especially from Georgie. The moment in the trailer when most trailer transition to a more intense music was very awkwardly done and at the wrong place. Like the Prince Caspian Trailer, it also gave you no idea what the movie was about other than Aslan and Liliandil spouting off a few cliched lines. I honestly squirmed every time they said a line. Reepicheep's voice was most likely recycled material from Prince Caspian. I don't know why they had a voice speak the title words at the end. It made it feel like nothing more than an elongated TV spot. I'm very worried about the direction of the marketing for VoDT. It almost makes me fear that they are trying to kill the franchise.
I would have liked to see them focus on Eustace and Caspian a lot more. It seems like the White Witch got more screen time than they did. Also, Lucy with a bow? Seriously?
Despite all my quibbles, there were somethings I appreciated. The CGI on Reepicheep looks good. I also like the scene with all the lilies and when the water pours into the room.
Overall though, I'm still very disappointed in the teaser, I'm hoping we get a second trailer sometime soon.
Lucy uses a bow in the book.
