I just noticed Reep is still wearing his sword at the end of the world scene with Aslan. I wonder what is going on there.

Okay, the line "this place just gets weirder and weirder" ... who says this?! I don't think it's Eustace because the voice sounds too old.
I know Fantasia Kitty doesn't agree with me, but that is sooooooo Eustace.
If i can find a suitable clip from School of Comedy, i will post it up, and you can hear that the line sounds exactly like he does in many of his characters' voices from that show.
As if the production is going to answer a question truthfully whether or not Lucy will have a crush on Caspian at this moment. Anyone remember Global Warming? or some of the things that were said in the leaked script wont be true in the movie, yet some of it is coming true? Lucy looks older then both 10 and 12. She looks 14. That's old enough to have a crush. Agreed with AslanIsOnTheMove, you can be any age to have a crush. Come on if I were Lucy and on a ship with a man who was 20 or 21 and was dashing, I'd crush too. A crush is only logical to a younger girl. Even Ben Barnes gets it all the time in his fan letters of 13 year old girls with crushes on him
Okay I'm dropping it right now
Yes Eustace does sound different when saying "This place just gets weirder and weirder" I'm assuming either a voice change because he sounded different in the beginning of the trailer. I wonder if they will change that or if it was a Dufflepud, "Nothing like being an opposite"

I've been known to be wrong many, many times before. But it just doesn't sound like Eustace to me, especially based off of his opening line in the trailer. But you're also not the first person to have thought it was Will based off his School of Comedy role. I haven't seen it so maybe I'd change my mind if I did.
I thought it was the Chief Dufflepud myself.

I'm guessing the ordering of the final events will be rearranged. I still think Reepicheep will float away in his little coracle.

I'm 99% sure that it's Eustace saying that line. I've also seen clips from School of Comedy and agree that the voice that delivers that line belongs to Will Poulter. Of course, I've been wrong many, many times before too.

Honestly, I think it's hilarious you're using almost the same argument that Adamson used for Susaspian.
I vote it's Eustace saying the line. It makes more sense to me for it to be him. Why would the Dufflepuds be talking about the place getting weirder? They live there.
Booky, My intentions on Lucy having a crush on Caspian is no where close to Adamson's silly and vile idea of adding Suspian in PC. It's just an innocent girl who may have a minor crush, that is it.
It just sounds weird when Eustace says that line, because at first I was trying to realize who said that line and many were saying Eustace. i just couldn't help but fall back in my chair and laugh so loud.

The "This just gets weirder and weirder" is no doubt about it Eustace. I've seen Son of Rambow four times and saw it fairly recently too. I'd know his voice anywhere. Not to mention, why wouldn't it be Eustace?
Honestly, I think it's hilarious you're using almost the same argument that Adamson used for Susaspian.
I agree, same argument--I think the difference though is that Adamson had Caspian return Susan's feelings. For those of us who don't think a Lucy-crush-on-Caspian is so farfetched, it's the idea that he DOESN'T return it. That would make the most impact. But I can imagine them easily butchering that situation, so I'll be just as happy if that idea doesn't happen.

I don't know. To me Eustace's voice had a mixture of the dufflepuds voices in the BBC VDT for some reason. I don't know how to explain it but it will probably sound better in the movie.

It isn't the crush that is the same. It is the argument you are using as to why it makes sense for Lucy to have a crush. She is a young girl and of course she would have a crush on the boy. That is not a good argument nor do i agree with it.
That was Adamson's argument as to why the Susan/Caspain romance. Susan and Caspian are both young people, of course they would have a crush on each other. No.

Okay already. I said I was dropping it on the last page decarus. We will have to wait and see in the film. I just find it to be her foreshadow of wanting to look like Susan and it is more in character for her then what Adamson did in PC. At least my theory and opinion has a well thought out story behind it instead of something randomly thrown in with no purpose whatsoever.
I'm done talking about it on here. If you want to continue this discussion with me feel delighted to PM me.

I have been wondering for quite sometime how they were going to develop Eustace's character to the audience. Of course, the easiest way is to have a narrator say at the begining of the film: ''There once was a boy named Eustace Clarence Scrubb and he almost deserved it....'' And have Eustace reading a book full of grain elevators and fat foreign children doing exercises. But I thought it was unlikely since we hadn't heard anything about a narrator that they would do that. Anyway, so when I watched the trailer what immediately came to mind when I saw Ed enlisting in the army was that this was how they would start to develop Eustace's character to the audience. Eustace is so bad being in the army is better than staying at his house. I was slightly worried about the line,''Squirt? I am a King.'' But if that's the only line in the movie where Ed says something like that I think it is alright.
Yeah I'm not worried about Edmund's line at all. At least he didn't look like he was going to get into a fight like what Peter did in PC. Edmund looked hurt rather then revengeful. I'm sure Edmund feels useless in his own world rather then some bratty kid who wants to be an adult again and that he deserves respect from everyone.

Thanks for that about the music zeeky I hadn't realised. I don't whether to be glad or relieved though because I kind of liked it - why couldn't they have used previous Narnia music? I thought in the PC trailer they had used previous music but on watching it now I realise they hadn't.
The page Lucy has isn't necessarily the beauty spell, though that's the most likely. In trailers they tend to cut all over the place.
Anyway, after listening to the latest podcast I have so much more to say. (Don't know whether that's a good thing or not! ) Hopefully I can remember it all.
Firstly, I personally thought the CGI on the Dawn Treader ship and Aslan looked fine. The Dufflepuds looked kinda weird like they were springing into the ground and the minotaur looked terrible. Why were they CGing that?
With the WW I am relieved to hear Tilda didn't spend long filming it so therefore she can't have been in it much. It's probably only one of his terrible dreams resurfacing and when it's over - it's over. Dreams, as we know, are drawn from things that actually happen to us. The WW said she'd make him a prince and this is possibly just a 'dream re-interpretation' of this.
In the podcast Gymfan mentioned the time period has changed which I hadn't noticed but of course that makes sense and explains it but confuses everything else. Of course Peter's not going to be studying in such a time and Susan's not going to be waltzing off to America (at least it's not likely).
As to their appearance in the trailer, I have found an explanation which at least for now will keep me freaking out too much about their Narnian clothes. I wondered if it is one of those 'trailer only' moments such as 'I am Prince Caspian'. I mean, in reality what could they possibly be doing an 'I am a hero' swagger for? Isn't it far more likely they did their England scenes and then had to do something Narnian. Peter's clothes at any rate look like his PC ones. I had this much more planned in my head than it's coming out, I assure you. There is no reason or way for the older Pevensies to be in Narnia. It is unexplainable except that it was done to tie up the trailer, to show that the other two are returning, oh I can't remember all my thoughts now but you get my gist though I'm sure it won't have put you at your ease.
Another thought I had, was when Rilian mentioned there being a lot more than expected of Coriakin was perhaps because they've only prepared so much of the film and that perhaps his scenes constituted a large part of that. I wasn't too keen on how Coriakin looked, I imagine him, thanks to BBC, with a long grey/white beard and hair.
I hadn't really thought about when he throws that map that it was deliberately a 3D moment because afterall as far as we know doing it in 3D was an afterthought. Which means, during production they wouldn't have been thinking 'Oh, if we do this it will look really cool in 3D.'
I'll just leave it there, I think that's long enough for now but I'll have to finish up later.
