awesome pictures, JadistarkilleR. (have you posted them on the "great pictures of cast" thread?)
narnian1, yeah. I was kinda disappointed in the very short section that Ben was in.

It will take time to get used to the beard, but I think he is cool! ;;)

I'm not too worried about Ben being Caspian in VDT it would be wierd if he wasn't! The beard looks cool but it's getting very Aragorn-ish. I love Narnia, but Ben Barnes is no Aragorn! Aragorn is WAY cooler than Caspian in my opinion, also way older. It's hard when one is a total Tolkien and Lewis nut:). I'm looking forward to seeing Ben in VDT, he should pull off the Sea-Faring king well enough for anyone. :)

What I'm curious about is who will portray the aged Caspian if and when they make The Silver Chair . Will they hire another, older actor? (and if so who?) or will they simply put Ben Barnes in makeup?

That's why I'm going to stand by the play world. I'm on Aslan's side even if there isn't any Aslan to lead it. I'm going to live as like a Narnian as I can even if there isn't any Narnia. -Puddleglum

My sister didn't believe me at first when I told her Caspian grew a bread. She doesn't like it,but she did say "At least it makes him look his age."

I'm quite certain they'll simply put Ben in makeup. Makeup has come a long way and aging someone naturally look pretty accurate nowadays.
I don't know how many people remember this, but when Ben was cast as Caspian, they announced he had signed on for The Silver Chair as well as PC and VDT. Course, that could simply be for the final scene in the book, but I'm quite certain he'll be the Old Caspian as well. ;)

At the rate at which these movies are being made they won't have to put Ben in makeup. ;)

I was thinking that too, with the combination of a good make-up artist and special effects it shouldn't be too hard to age him. Of course as you said Ben may only appear at the end after Aslan restores him to his younger self. But I'm not sure that we're even going to get a very good look at the aged Caspian, if you remember in the book Jill & Eustace only saw him from a distance as he was leaving Narnia to search for his son.

I also like what Watziznehm said =)) and I agree, they need to get on the ball with these movies :!! I want to see them all. Why can't they do it like they did with the Harry Potter, LOTR and Twilight movies and release one every year?

They also see Caspian old in Aslan's country when he is in the stream. He then gets younger as they are watching.

Haha, probably! It'll be interesting to see an older Caspian. But the de-aging scene at the end of SC made me think of King Theoden in TTT.

I think Ben does a great role as Caspian :D

I'm looking foreward to see him in VDT. To be honest, I like the beard. He looks older and now he looks like a king. Before he looked like a prince. So I'm really looking forward to the movie :D

And I hope he will play in SC as well. I hope he will play the old Caspian, but I think the movie makers will need a lot of makeup. But as I said, I think he well be AMAZING!! :D

Wrong will be right, when Aslan comes in sight,
At the sound of his roar, sorrows will be no more,
When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death
And when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.

Yeah I'd have to agree with you Queen Lucy of Narnia, he does look good with the beard. I think it makes him look older like he's supposed to, and more mature like a King who's ruled for a few years should. Just my opinion though. I have a feeling he will be playing Caspian in Silver Chair. I hope he does anyways.

I think he plays a wonderful Caspian. :D

well Ben is on a 3-picture deal (as per his original contract with Disney anyway), so its safe to assume that the 3rd picture is Silver Chair. also he has spoken in an earlier interview that he joked with Howard Berger if the Hollywood make-up guru can make Ben look like an old man, so thats another proof that Ben should be returning as the elder King Caspian in SC.

At the rate at which these movies are being made they won't have to put Ben in makeup. ;)

lol! good one! of course this is Ben Barnes we're talking about, the guy who either a.) has a painting stashed in an attic aging away or b.) has swiped the One Ring from Elijah Wood and is keeping it in his pocket somewhere. i'm willing to bet good money that in 20 years Ben will only look to have aged about 5 years.

JadistarkilleR, you're so right. ben was able to pull of a 17 year old at 27 so.... ;) Ben really did an excellent job as Caspian...he had the perfect looks(maybe not the accent but oh well)I can't wait to see him in the upcoming movies.

Oh, I just thought of something...will caspian still have his telemarine accent in vdt? he looks more british from the pics i've seen...

I saw the movie....and was disappointed

thanks! just a slight correction though, Ben was 25 when he was cast as teen Caspian ;).
but then again, if you see Ben's photos when he was 16-17, he looked 13! :))

Caspian better have his accent in place come VDT. it would be totally jarring if he started talking like Peter (how odd would that be?). to be honest. i dont see the big deal with Ben's accent as Caspian. its a toned down version of a stereotypical hispanic accent-- which is what Andrew Adamson wanted since he cast an international array of actors to play Telmarines. i've listened to the other actors in PC and most of them sounded much like Ben, with a few straying into the stereotypical Mexican accent. Ben didnt make the same mistake, yet he's looking bad for it. sheesh. :-??
