I would imagine that the Artemis II spacecraft was too small and far away to be seen by the James Webb Space Telescope. Earth’s Moon would look pretty tiny from James Webb’s location if it could be seen at all. Oh well, it was just a thought.

It may be more with the focal length of the telescope. It wasn't that it was too far, it was probably too close. I can't get a photo of anything within 30ft of me with my 70-200 lens, but anything 70-500ft... Not a problem.
They just released a bunch of new photos to the gallery according to NASA's threads account.
