Usually when I have potions i just get hit etc and not care but now i would have to be more careful. sometimes it is easier to attack an enemy if you end up being hit. (bosses mainly).
@ILoveFauns Ah, I don't have a 3ds, but two of my bros are getting them for Christmas, so I might 'borrow' one.. lol. I've never even heard of e shop, but I'm def gonna check it out if they have the first 3 Zelda's!!!
@FencerforJesus I usually stick to amazon, ebay or half bc the Gamestop near my house is...well, their prices aren't exactly great or fair. You can literally have a 50$ xbox 360 game and they'll trade you about 15$ tops, but we've had them want to trade for 6$ and 8$ before.
ABout SS, what exactly IS Hero mode??

Hero Mode is a '2nd quest'. It's the same game, like the way Windwaker has a 2nd quest with slight variations to the details. But challenge is significantly greater in Hero Mode than it is in the initial play-through. And I hear there is an 18-heart limit in Hero Mode as well.

I never have 100% of the hearts, I usually don't need them or i am too lazy to fine heart pieces.
twq: you should defiantly download those games form the e-shop. this 4 swords one which is only available to feb is a remake of the original 4 swords.
Personally, I love the new Mario and Sonic Olympics game for Wii! I mean Mario on a horse? That's just awesome. I made my brother's play the ribbons game with me a lot.
Donkey Kong twirling a ribbon amused me.
My brother got that game too, it's a lot of fun. I'll have to see Donkey Kong do that game, should be fun. My brother thinks Metal Sonic (a robot) doing synchronized swimming looks weird. I would think the same could be said for him doing regular swimming, or Sonic (who's afraid of water) doing any water events (even though he wears a life jacket).
Seeking comic book artist, PM for details.
You should totally try DK with the ribbons or Bowser, Dinode!
And yeah, I have to agree, Metal Sonic doing synchronized swinning is weird...seems like he would short circuit or something???
I didn't know Sonic was supposed to be afraid of water. Guess I shouldn't have played the swimming with him so much...

My brother got me Goldeneye 007 Reloaded for Christmas, and although I haven't had much opportunity to play with it I've really enjoyed what I've gotten to play. This is essentially a bottom-up reworking of the old N64 classic Goldeneye. The plot is closer to the movie than the N64 version was and it has Daniel Craig in lieu of Pierce Brosnan, but it's basically the same game with hugely updated graphics and weapons selection. One of these days (hopefully this weekend perhaps if I get my chores done ) I'll be able to see if multiplayer mode is as fun as the original's was. Purportedly I can play as my favorite ever Bond villain, Jaws.
And back to your regularly scheduled Zelda conversation, already in progress.
Kennel Keeper of Fenris Ulf
I got Battlefield 3 for Christmas, I've been playing it a lot. The graphics are amazing! BF2 was always my favorite FPS so I was so excited to get BF3.
The only thing I don't really like is how beginners are just sitting ducks for the kids that have been playing 24/7. I wish there were more servers available for JUST beginners. As a noob, the weapons available to you are subpar from what experienced players have. And what's with not being able to start your own private server? You gotta pay extra money to start one. Get real, guys! lol
My brother recently started Skyrim, and he lets me play it too. I have no complaints about that game, LOVE it.
I got Skyward Sword for Christmas... . Now imagine my surprise at not knowing you have to have an attachment to play... (name escapes me right now...)

The Wii Motion Plus? Yep, need that. It's $20 for one of those. That's why I got the pre-order kit. It came with one of those.

Yeah. Everywhere near my house is sold out.

if you ask a game store they will keep one for you next time they come in
O Shadowlander: I'm so happy you like the new Bond game! I still have the original Golden Eye and I wanted to know if the new one would be weird, too much like the original so far as the levels go, etc. Hm, maybe I can get it sometime...is it for any other system than just Wii?
Okay, everyone, this is a super odd question, but here goes:
I saw a YouTube video of a young woman singing a song that was supposedly from a video game. The video itself was supposedly a hit or something, and she was singing something about a "dragon rider coming" or something along those lines. I'm sorry to say I can't remember what dong the game was from. Any ideas as to the name of this song and the artist? thanks

For Christmas (which we had on New Year's Eve), my family bought a Playstation 3. The next day, i bought the first two Uncharted games, and a few days ago i picked up Uncharted 3.
I'd already played the first Uncharted at a friend's house, and really enjoyed it (the graphics! I'm a sucker for beautiful graphics). I finished Uncharted 2 a few days ago and liked that too, and so far i'm liking Uncharted 3 - perhaps not as much, but that might just be because i'm tired.
Dang if "It Got Worse" isn't the story of Nathan Drake's life! I usually have a couple people watching me while i play, and that's the number-one thing we comment on, because it isn't enough to have twenty enemies fighting you on a sinking cruise ship on rough seas - one of them has to have a rocket launcher, and the ledges you climbing have to fall apart just as you grab onto them ...
My brother likes them too, and - shock of shocks! - my sister is actually playing the first one! She doesn't usually play video games, but she's giving this one a shot.
In other news, i need a new computer. The one computer that runs Mass Effect 1 and 2, the one i spent over a hundred bucks upgrading, is old and has some video card issues now (i hate computers). It's been months since it will run those games, which would be reason enough to get a new one, but i got The Sims 3 for Christmas and it won't run on any of the computers we have right now (which it couldn't tell me before i installed it on one of them ... *grrr argh gnash teeth*). Anyway, before too long i'll shell out the money for one and hope it doesn't break within the first six months ... which it probably will.
Sorry this post is so disjointed. I don't think i'm very good at this posting-on-forums thing; at least, not at 1:22 AM.
