@Shadowlander: LOL! Yep Nathan Drake eats at Subway! =))

We finally started Shadow of Colossus!
We went through ICO more then seven times just to get all of the Trophies (achievements). :p
It was all worth it, we got 100% :D
Needless to say I'm good with taking a break from ICO. ;)

My latest games played have been Kingdom Hearts 1, 2, and 358 1/2 Days. I have Chain of Memories and Coded for PS 2 and DS, respectively and I will wait to play those. The series is pretty awesome with a great story line, moving music, memorable characters, and some epic boss fights. They do an amazing job at blending the classic Disney stories with Final Fantasy Characters into an original story line.

With Skyward Sword officially being released 4 weeks from yesterday, (I'll be getting it four weeks from tomorrow), I'm now Zelda focused. I'm running through my favorites in anticipation. I just finished Ocarina of Time: Master Quest. Even though I am really good at the Zelda games, Master Quest still makes me think. I do wish they would do Master Quests for some of the other games as well. Next on my list is Windwaker and if time allows, Twilight Princess. I'm still not sure if I will really be able to play Skyward Sword much when I get it though. I'm about to move and it's looking closer and closer to be shortly after SS comes out.

Be watching for the release of my spiritual warfare novel under a new title: "Call to Arms" by OakTara Publishing. A sequel (title TBD) will shortly follow.

The first reviews for Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception from IGN has come in! 10/10!

From IGN:

IGN defines a 10.0 -- a masterpiece -- as "the pinnacle of gaming, a masterpiece may not be flawless, but it is so exceptional that it is hard to imagine a game being better." That's Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception. From start to finish, single player to multiplayer, this game sings. The characters, the graphics, the sound, the story – they’re all top notch. If you’re willing to skip Uncharted 3, be prepared to miss one of gaming’s finest moments.

I'm so happy!!! Mostly for the guys at Naughty Dog who continue to create such amazing and awesome games!!!! :D
I can't wait to play Uncharted 3 in just 7 days!!!!!!!!
It's going to be such a ride!!!! :D

We got Uncharted 3 at midnight and there were twenty other people in line! :D
We played until 7:00am then slept for three hours and went right back to playing until we beat it. Wow! Wow! Wow! It is the BEST game ever!!!!! :D
Amazing Story! Amazing Graphics, and Amazing Gameplay!
After we had beat it we were planning on playing War in the North, but only had it on five minutes before we decided to put Uncharted 3 back in and play it again! :D
Naughty Dog is Incredible! I didn't think they could do better then Uncharted 2! But they have outdone themselves again!
The only bad thing is now we have to wait (God willing) another two years before the possibility of Uncharted 4 :D , It seems so far away!!!!!!

I don't know, it could be just me, but I get this crazy notion that someone on this thread is a huge Uncharted fan. It brings to mind a song from back in the 70's by Steeler's Wheel called "Stuck in the Middle With You"

Clowns to the left of me, Jokers to the right
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you...

Which I have rewritten and repurposed as follows:

Zelda to the left of me, Uncharted to the right
Here I am, stuck in the middle with you...

Ha! Who said I wasn't creative? ;))

And just to make sure things stay on topic here ;) I managed to get my mega old copy of Master of Orion II working on my Windows 7 PC! Woot! Watch out Alkari, here I come! B-) Well, after NaNo I'll come. So be ready....;))

I had Master of Orion II a while back. I enjoyed it for a while but it got annoying when it was either way to easy and I just obliterated anyone in site or it was way to difficult and I could do nothing about it. And it sure was annoying how no matter what you did when it was hard, your enemies always had a massive bigger fleet than you did. But I always enjoyed the battle against the Guardian at Orion. Then you get the masses of missiles, the plasma beans, gyro disstabilizers, and the lethal stellar converters. Ah, memories.

*Chuckles at SL's adaptation of the old Steeler's Wheel song*

Fencer, those are exactly my thoughts about MOO II. The bad guys would always show up with these massive fleets. Stellar converters...now there's a weapon. ;))

Years ago, Rya's father and I tried a multi-player game (on 2 different, linked PCs) a couple times, but despite the fact that the game had that option, it really couldn't handle that. It took a long time between moves...really long.

Still, I liked the main idea behind the game...not just military, but economic and scientific too. Not only could you design your starships, there was an emphasis on advancing your world's tech and exploring new worlds to house growing populations and get more resources.

Let us know, Shadowlander, how it works on a modern machine. :)

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

It come out in about 2 weeks and 3 days here now. I can't wait. I have pre-ordered it and my exams finish 2 days before the release, so I will have a lot of time to play it.

@Shadowlander: LOL! I'm never going to hear that song the same way again! =))

We finished playing The Lord of the Rings: War in the North last week!
Great combat! The fighting is much more on par with the films!
While the story wasn't as strong, it was good enough for me!
I really hope this type of combat is carried over to The Hobbit game when it is released! :)

Uncharted 3, yes me and my sister played it again! ;)
We got our 100% Platinum trophy (achievement)! Greatest game ever!

I hope to finish up Shadow of the Colossus soon.
I have a lot of Drawing to do for Christmas gifts, so I have to focus on getting that done first.

@Gildor_Inglorion: Yes Uncharted 3 has amazing graphics! It's Incredible!
I highly recommend it, if you have a PS3! :D

This is the actual gameplay, you are controlling Nathan Drake through the desert, its beautiful!

I've played Sonic generations now. Some of the missions are kind of frustrating, but not so much that the game isn't fun. I really like it. Anyone else play it?

Seeking comic book artist, PM for details.

I play Block Dude sometimes in math class ;)) ...those TI graphing calculators come pre-loaded with video games. xD I have no idea why, but it's a great way to pass the time when I'm tired of hearing about Taylor series polynomials and the fact that it's on a calculator means I can play it without much suspicion. :p

Block Dude is awesome! Except I've never made it past level 8 (Ironically I've never made it past level 8 in the Toy Story game either :P)

Don't know if this belongs better in the FB thread, but I was determined not to get hooked on another FB game, then my roommate started playing CastleVille... then she told me there were rabbits.... and it all went downhill from there :P

In other news I got the latest 2 Nancy Drew Games (Which are amazing by the way) and my roommate ordered Trail of the Twister, which I'm dying to play.

I also got this cool little game called "Escape Whisper Valley" it's one of those hidden object games, very fun!

And still working on Bejeweled 2 Deluxe

Spoiler
I'm trying to unlock the other 3 secret modes, I've unlocked "Cognito" and the mode where you move your mouse around the menus to unlock it (the name eludes me, it's based on the original game I believe)

My favorite video game has to be Mario Kart for the Nintendo Wii. I also like New Super Mario Bro's for the Wii. ;)
