I just downloaded the Pink Knight on Castle Crashers (XBox 360). (He's free for breast cancer awareness month.) I haven't played him yet, but he's covered with lipstick kisses and I hear he shoots rainbows. This should be most interesting.
And now I leave you all with more castle crashers music which is truly epic and never gets old.

I find it amusing how everyone in that posts in this thread tends to fixate on one game or game series and seldom delve outside of it.
Fencer & ILF: Mario and Zelda games - Wii and DS Only
7Chronicles: Uncharted - PS3 Only
Wolfy: Wolf Quest - PC Only
Fantasia Kitty: Weird stuff. And sometimes Portal. But mostly weird stuff.
SnowAngel: Rainbow Six - PC Only
Me: Shooters, RTS's, and the rest - X-Box 360 and PC Only
Has anyone else picked up on this oddity?

Has anyone else picked up on this oddity?
Yep... Unfortunately I've never even heard of some of the ones everybody else has mentioned... I've only ever played on my PC, Sega, and the Wii.
(Plus WQ (by the way there's no space... bad grammar I know) is (hopefully) updating soon.... wolfquest.org just passed mousehuntgame.com for 2nd on my favorites list again. I'm sure you all can guess what's first )
Here's one I know somebody else on here must have played...
Mariokart. <-Love that game! I play it at my friend's house because she has a Wii. I can never figure out the balloon battles though... It's tough to get the balloons away from the other team!
Favorite Track: DK Summit
Least Favorite Track: Rainbow Road
I also am a big fan of the Nancy Drew Adventure series... I really need to get more games though I'm falling behind. The most recent one I have is Ransom of the Seven Ships. My favorite's White Wolf of Icicle Creek, fallowed by Ghost Dogs of Moonlake (I finished that in like 3 days), and The Haunting of Castle Malloy.
Maybe it'd help if people gave spoiler-less (or spoiler-boxed) descriptions of their favorite games so everybody else has at least a basic idea of what's going on...
I guess I'll try with WolfQuest. (Hopefully there's no spoilers- I'm sorry if there are) In WolfQuest you get to create your own wolf and try to survive in Yellowstone National Park. In the first episode you're a dispersal wolf (a lone wolf) on Amethyst Mountain and your goal is to find a mate. You need to visit the various wolf territories in order to find another dispersal who can be your mate. Along the way you can hunt elk, hare, coyotes, and chase bears (who are absolute cowards in AM by the way. In the second episode, Survival of the Pack, You need to find a den in Slough Creek, mark your territory, defend and grow your pups, and then make the final Journey to the Winter Den. Some dangers to your pups in SC (Slough Creek, not Silver Chair) include Coyotes, Bears, Stranger Wolves, and the Golden Eagle. If either you or your mate die you will respawn... (but there are many glitches if you die so I recommend avoiding it.) If your pups die you'll lose them unless the last of the four dies (only it will respawn though.) There's also a "Times Died" listed in the "Packs Stats Menu." There's also a Multiplayer version where you and other WQ members can get together and hunt or RP in either AM or SC, but I usually don't go on because of computer glitches and chatting abuses.
As a Wolf you can Run, Howl, Mark Your Territory (SC only), Stalk, Walk, Bow (multiplayer only), Wag your tail, and Bite things and pick up your pups. There's als a scent veiw and a headcam.
In 2.5 they'll be adding whether and time, the ability to sit and sleep, and phrased chat option and ingame list of rules for multi-player, but the basic game idea will be the same. As well as bug fixes.
Now for some spoilers...

Yeah, I agree. I try not to be so fixated on one thing, but on my video game play list, you can immediately mark off all fps games and anything that comes on a handheld console.
Fantasia Kitty: Weird stuff. And sometimes Portal. But mostly weird stuff.
Portal is extremely weird. And you're right. I've actually been fishing around for other games people might have played but thus far I haven't had much luck.
Well outside of Portal. But I shall endeavor to post even more weird stuff just in case someone else MIGHT have played it.
@Fans of Nintendo: I was wondering what you guys think of the Wii U?
I have not actually payed very close attention to it thus far aside from the fact of making note that it exists. Usually my buying strategy is wait a month or two for them to work the bugs out and then go buy one. But Nintendo (and Sega who makes games for Nintendo now) often carries my favorite games so I will likely own a Wii U sometime in the future. When is that thing due out anyways?
Mariokart. <-Love that game! I play it at my friend's house because she has a Wii.

I LOVE this game. Between my husband and I we have everything unlocked on our game. My two favorite setups are Rosalind and the Star Shooter and then Daisy and the Dolphin Dasher. Always in Automatic, I can't make Manual work for me.
Favorite track: Moo Moo Meadows. Too Easy? All right, we'll go with Waluigi Stadium.
Least Favorite Track: It's a toss up between Wario's Gold Mine and Rainbow Road.
Ok, lets see, I need to talk about a weird game otherwise I'll lose my aura of weirdness.
A while back a friend of mine recommended a game called Stacking. It's a problem solving game. You play this bitty little Russian Nesting Doll and you run around and stack up with other Russian nesting dolls that have different abilities and use them to unlock new puzzles... you get the idea.
I believe the game is available on the PS3 and the XBox 360 as a download.
It's kind of fun but I haven't really been able to get into it yet. I'll keep you all posted if I do.
@FK my freind just unlocked the Dolphin Dasher, and I've been using it ever since! I always play Automatic though... it was tough enough on Sega Mario Andretti (as in the actual dude not MarioKart Mario) Racing... Not making the same mistake twice! Especially on a consul I only use once a month.

Not quite true about me there SL. I'm also a big FF fan and of RPG's. I have a decent PS1 and PS2 collection. My main games for those are Chrono Trigger, Chrono Cross, Final Fantasy (have 4-7, 9, 10, and 12), and the Mega Man X Series (all 8). For the Wii, aside from Mario and Zelda, I've got three good RPG's on my list: Tales of Symphonia (stardf can testify to this), Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, and Arc Rise Fantasia.
Arc Rise Fantasia is a very unique RPG with an unusual story that starts rather weak but gets stronger and stronger with each passing moment. And unlike your typical RPG, this one requires INTENSE strategies where you have to use your buffers (elemental defenses, regens, double HP, and more). I usually can just level up to where I don't bother with said defenses, but here they are an absolute must and I often have to fight some bosses several times to figure out their tactics before I can beat them. I usually don't have to do that. Also, the music in this game is pretty spectacular and of epic proportions.
Wii U, definitely looking interested in it. Since I'm a bit tight on funds, it will need to wait after it's out.
Be watching for the release of my spiritual warfare novel under a new title: "Call to Arms" by OakTara Publishing. A sequel (title TBD) will shortly follow.

I dunno Fencer, I had to go clear back to page 20 of this thread before I found a post by you that didn't mention Zelda, and you post in here pretty often.
Seriously though, I totally understand the Zelda love. It is a fantastic game series, though I can't say I'm a hardcore Zelda fan like other people I know. I played the original Legend of Zelda all the way through but I'm ashamed to say that I've never beaten another Zelda game after that, though I have started several of them. The most recent one, Twilight Princess, was fantastic, and I probably would have beaten it, except that I saw my brother beat it, and I knew the story so I never finished it. I made it all the way to the Sky Castle too, so I know I was close.
I am looking forward to the next one whenever it comes out.
I know. Zelda would definitely be one of my top games ever, but it not so obsessing that I don't deviate from it. But that being said, Zelda, Mario, and FF along with 90's Squaresoft games are always among what I mention when it comes to games.
You missed out if you didn't beat the Sky Castle. That has one of my favorite bosses in the game. As for Zelda: Skyward Sword, it comes out in a month and a half. November 2, I believe.

Why all the hate for Rainbow Road? It's lots of fun if you don't fall off a lot...
...oh, wait.
...Well, it still looks cool and has awesome music.
I really like the Mario Kart series for their course designs, though. My personal favorite course is Koopa Cape, though I also rather like Toad's Factory, Coconut Mall, and Maple Treeway.

I've only played Mario Kart for the SNES and N64. I never got a chance to get Double Dash or the one for the Wii. (Well, I did have chances, but it wasn't a good time.) So my expertise here is on the older ones. Rainbow Road for SNES was a beast because of truly having no walls. I didn't have a particular favorite course for SNES other than this one.
For N64, I liked Yoshi's Island, Bowser's Castle, Wario's course (can't remember that name), DK's Island, and Rainbow Road. Rainbow Road on this one was a beast not due to difficulty but due to length. Toad's Turnpike was alright but those traffic vehicles, especially in the Special Cup (where you do it backwards) was quite a challenge.

LOL Shadowlander!
I guess my favorite game is obvious! I can't help it! It's the best game ever!
Being a hardcore gamer the Wii does not interest me.
XBox does not interest me because I have a PS3.
I don't plan PC games because my computer is so slow!
That leaves me with few games outside of the PS3 to talk about.
Mariokart:
I have it but haven't played it in a while (I like the Rainbow Road track).
I have a DS lite, the only time I really play it is while I'm waiting in line for a movie.
Both me and my sister are very, very competitive when it comes to gaming!
We proably look ridiculous rubbing and blowing on our DS as fast as we can while laughing, trying to beat each other!
@wolfloversk: I Love Nancy Drew! I actually watch my sister play it! She really likes them! You should definitely get some more.
WolfQuest sounds like it would be fun, unfortantley my computer has always been awful at running games.
I'm getting a Mac in a few months, does WolfQuest run on Mac also?
@Fantasia Kitty: Oh that's the game I mentioned in my last post (I got the name wrong)!
Is it worth getting, I've been wanting to get it.
About Uncharted (yes again )
Here are the plots for each game
I would tell you more, but it would totally spoiler it!

Uncharted kinda reminds me of Tomb Raider a little bit, from what I've seen of it.
Kennel Keeper of Fenris Ulf
They are both Treasure hunters or Tomb Raiders, besides that there is no comparison, Uncharted is a million times better!!!
The new rebooted Tomb Raider game coming out next year actually said they took some of the stuff from Uncharted, like the cinematic and visual experience and applied it to the new game
I could go on and on about Uncharted but unless you play it, its hard to explain just how incredible it is.
It's the characters and story that make it so special, not just the visuals and gameplay!
Amy Henning (the writer) did an incredible job at writing these amazing stories!
