Anyone play Homefront? It looked like an awesome story, and the graphics looked sick, I'm just waiting for it to drop in price. Just wondering if anyone else has an experience playing it.

That came out early last week I think. It was timely as I needed a gift for my brother's birthday, so I picked up a copy for him. The game has "From the makers of Red Dawn" on it, so that sold me right there ;)). I'll have to wait for my brother's first progress report on it though before I know if it's good or not. :)

Did you know that Sam Witwer who did the voice of Starkiller also did the voice of The Emperor (Darth Sidious) in the game?
I thought he sounded just like him.

I think he did Darth Sidious. I dont know I'll look into it to find out.

@puddleglum32: Sorry my wording wasn't done very well :p ,
I meant that Sam Witwer did do both the voices of Starkiller and Darth Sidous. I thought he did a really good job at it. Sorry I didn't word it very well. :p :)
By the way, out of curiosity what is it about the second one you didn't like as much as the first. :- :)

I'm going a bit retro lately. I'm currently playing through the Mega Man X series, originally released for the SNES for the first three, for the PS1 for games 4-6 and then PS2 for games 7-8. I'm currently on X2. Best games in the series IMO are X, X2, X4, and X8 in no particular order.

Be watching for the release of my spiritual warfare novel under a new title: "Call to Arms" by OakTara Publishing. A sequel (title TBD) will shortly follow.

Currently, amidst everything I've been busy with, I'm playing two games.

The first is Pokemon Black and White. Mainly White, though I did get Black as well. Haven't had much time to actually play them, though... The story is actually looking to be rather interesting (Team Plasma, the resident "evil team", is seeking to liberate Pokemon from their Trainers, thinking Pokemon are being oppressed), while the battling aspect is as solid as ever.

The second is called Touhou Project. This is an indie shoot-em-up game series, only available in Japan (I got it from my friend), involving shooting enemies as you dodge dense bullet patterns. It can definitely be quite intimidating, especially on harder levels. There are several games in the series, and the one I'm currently playing is the eighth one, Imperishable Night, which is somewhat easier than the other games. Anyways, I managed to beat the main story mode on Easy, with no continues. This video (and its follow-up videos, which can be found in the video description) should give you an idea of what I was going up against (not that I played anywhere near as well as this guy did).

They really didnt need to make it, i mean they should have let him die in the first one and thats the end of Starkiller.

You mean he didn't die? :- But that would leave it open for a sequel!

Actually given the extremely brief nature of the first one, I'm guessing that the 2nd one might clock in at just under an hour. ;))

@puddleglum32: Thanks! :) I see what you mean. ;)

Anyone else excited for The Lord of the Rings: War in the North? :D
I can't wait for it! I've been wanting another LOTR's game! :p
It is suppose to be the first rated M game for LOTR.
I've yet to own an M game, so this will be my first one.
The combat looks really good, and you can choose between being: a Ranger, an Elf, or a dwarf. I personally am going to be an elf. :p
And it is multiple-player so me and my sister can both play! :D

First of all I 'm not a spam bot.

Now then... I've been away for a few days and am on behind with my homework. I was supposed to collect a poll in different classes, but it's too late for that now. As it's the weekend (my project is due on Monday), I have to collect my data using extra-curricular means.

For my homework, I'm trying to find out if there is a correlation between grades and the amount of video game systems sold.

Simply post your grade (9-12, only high school students) and how many game sytems (Playstation 3, Nintendo 64 etc) you own. Help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks. :)

So i finished Knights of the Old Republic II with the restored content. I'll probably play it a couple more times in the future, so i'll have a chance to develop more of an opinion on it, but off-hand i'd say it's probably worth a download.

It mostly adds minor content, such as cut scenes while on the Ebon Hawk, or completes previously unfinished plots - you can now resolve the Peragus/Telos fuel problem, and the "Redemption" plot on Dantooine gets marked as "done". The most notable additions were on Nar Shaddaa (just as a whole) and the HK-50 factory (which i enjoyed).

I was kinda hoping it would help fix at least a few of the many holes left by the original "ending", but no such luck. That was a little disappointing.

Haven't played anything new yet, but i'm waiting on a computer part so that this machine can hopefully, finally play the first Mass Effect.

Mass Effect is a really fun game with a nearly seamless harmonization between voice acting, storyline, graphics, and music. They really put the game together quite well, and true to its RPG roots there are multiple ways to play through it. The plot has been recycled from other games and sources but the whole thing is so beautiful that it's hard to hold it against the game. The second one was very good but a tad bit lesser than it's forbear. I'm very much looking forward to #3...I love how one can start a player on Mass Effect 1 and eventually use that very same character all the way to the conclusion of Mass Effect 3. Such things are simply not done enough. :)

I got Tiger Wood PGA tour 12 for the PS3. Its got the Masters on it. Since I live in Augusta its awesome that they would make that game. It also has 14 other courses as well. But its so exciting playing Holly and walking across Hogans Bridge. Does anyone else own it?
