Force Unleashed I thought was great, I played it on Nintendo DS. If there's a sequel I'm all for it!

I recently bought a Wii, first system I won since the original Nintendo- not including my DS Lite and Gameboy Advance. Wii Sports is great fun! I bought the Sports Resort, it really takes it out of me but I enjoy it so much.

Mario Galaxy 2 came out recently so I bought Mario Galaxy, the original. Loving the game so far, once I finish it I'll get part 2. But that won't be for a long time. :)

I have both KotOR games on PC and they run fine. Sadly, they're on CD-ROM, which means there's about five discs to keep track of when installing. I wish everyone would go to DVD-ROM already. X( ;))

^^ So, New Super Mario Brothers is good? I didn't know if it was or not. I thought it might be boring. I should look it up. The only Mario game I have is Mario Karts (Which I love!) and an old one from the 80's that we downloaded to our Wii.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii WAS their attempt to have a "classic" Mario again, similar to the 90s and 80s Mario titles as a 2D sidescroller, as opposed to the other 3D Marios. The added (awesome!) twist being that it has multiplayer. Just check this one out:

If you like the classical Mario games, the multiplayer alone makes is _so_ worthwile (which has catapulted this title into one of my fav games _ever_), but if you only play single player, some of the older Marios might be better.

Mario kart is a really good game, I played the old nintendo 64 version first. I didn't like playing multiplayer with my brother because he would always balme me when he feel off the edge. lol playing with soemone else might be better some one that is more around my age and doesn't get angry over video games.

I’ve played three games lately: Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands, ModNation Racers and Transformers: War for Cybertron. :)

I Loved all three of them, Transformers was my absolute favorite! :D
If you’re a fan of the old G1 Transformers cartoons, this is a great game to get! :D :p
It had a really good story in my opinion and it was really fun for me to play. :)
It’s a shooting game so I would keep that in mind if your interested. :p

I remember the original Prince of Persia, waaaaaaaaaay back in 1990 when DOS ruled the world. ;)) Revolutionary game, way ahead of its time. And the graphics were gorgeous, considering "state of the art" back then was a 386/33 Mhz. ;))

On a slightly related note back in 1983 a huge megahit of an arcade game was released called Dragon's Lair. The game was entirely animated by famed animator Don Bluth (The Secret of Nimh, among many others). After putting in a quarter the player would try to guide Dirk the Daring into a castle ruled by a dragon so that he could save Princess Daphne. Suffice it to say the game was a lot of fun and quite hilarious as getting to see the various ways Dirk might perish on his way through the dungeon were pretty clever and off the wall!

The waiting line for the Dragon's Lair machine was truly insane. I once waited 45 minutes to play, and then managed to survive for roughly 45 seconds and then had to go to the back of the line again. ;))

You must really have liked the game Shadowlander to have waited 45min to play it! :p :)
It’s amazing how far video games have come, I look back at when I first started playing PS1 when I was eight years old, and now eleven years later I’ve got a PS3 that has amazing graphics! :-o :p

My dad played Prince of Persia all the time when I was a baby and would teach me the DOS then. It's on one of my home videos :D But I don't know why the only game I was really ever obsessed with was Mario Bros. :p

I have been tempted to get Super Mario Galaxy 2 for a little bit, but at this time, I simply have other expenses that need to come first. I did get some older PS2 games, Kingdom Hearts II and RPG Maker 3 though. I am very annoyed with Kingdom Hearts II because it has an animation sequence an hour and a half into the game that keeps freezing. I can't tell if it's the game or my old PS2.

RPG Maker 3 is pretty neat. You are able to create your own game with it, but it gets pretty complex pretty fast. Due to time's sake, I need to put it aside for other things, because I really don't like to put something aside until I am done with it. It takes forever for me to get started on it again.

So in the meantime during times where I just need to do brainless activities, I am playing a game I've beaten a number of times already: Zelda Twilight Princess. I am greatly anticipating the new Zelda for the Wii slated to be released in November, baring delays. I'll take the delays, because they are making sure the game is done right and a game done right released later is always better than a rushed game that could be better.

I only played it twice . My wife has offered to get Dragon's Lair for my PC but it's not the same as putting a quarter in the machine and playing it with a joystick in front of a crowd. ;)) Even Pac-Man didn't get lines like DL did!

My dad played Prince of Persia all the time when I was a baby and would teach me the DOS then.

I miss DOS. Back then you could tell the computer to do whatever you wanted it to do. Now you have to ask it's permission. Bah!

But I don't know why the only game I was really ever obsessed with was Mario Bros.

*sigh* 8-|

I never liked the Mario games and I owned several. My friends alleged they beat Super Mario Bros. in a week...it took me 6. I never found the Minus Zone...to this day I think it's urban legend ;)). I liked Zelda more than Mario but even that didn't really scratch my gaming itch. It wasn't till' I got the original Final Fantasy, Ninja Gaiden, and Star Tropics that I started to branch out a bit and find lots of things I like, but the allure of Mario on the masses still baffles me. Then once I got my first PC and played my first flight sim (Red Baron), my first shooter (Wolfenstein 3D) and my first RTS (Dune II) I was hopelessley hooked and still am. B-)

I personally can't wait for Halo Reach! I don't really like the Call of Duty games that much, but the Halo series is my favorite forsure. :D

I have never really got into halo. It just isn't my type of game. I like games with meaning like zelda, final fantasy.

I just found out at Game Stop while I was in Atlanta that the next Zelda got postponed from November this year to April next year. They've done that for nearly every major Zelda game since Ocarina of Time, but it's been worth it every time. For Twilight Princess, they not only finalized some graphics, they added a whole temple. So while I am annoyed with the delay because I want to play it now, I know the wait will make the game so much better.

If you're talking the original Super Mario Bros for the NES, I never heard about the Minus Zone other than in Urban Legends either. But I have beaten the entire thing in one sitting, without warping, and without dying even one. I'd have all the neighborhood kids staring in my window in awe of watching me do stuff with Mario that they never could. And when you can beat the original Legend of Zelda for the NES backwards (only getting the necessary items to advance to the next temple), as well as not getting any equipment advancements (like no protection ring, no stronger sword, and no Magical shield all together), that shows you've arrived as a gamer.
