I finally caught that episode of Once Upon a Time today, and was on the lookout for that Apollo candy bar. Nice catch, SL.
Speaking of LOST alumni projects, Fox is advertising a new series next month, Alcatraz, from JJ Abrams and others from LOST. Jorge Garcia (Hugo) also figures prominently in the commercials.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
I watched what I could of Once Upon A Time tonight and saw another Lost reference! This is becoming a rather fun little detail in the show...I wouldn't be surprised if there's a Hatch located down at the bottom of that mine with a Scottish guy working out in it and listening to old records.
Oh, and the Lost reference I saw (besides the fact that the episode starred one Charles Widmore in a prominent role) involved a very old bottle of MacCutcheon's Scotch poured by Emma. If ya'll recall this was Charles Widmore's preferred libation and it was supposed to be well aged and very pricey, which is why he didn't think Desmond was worthy of a tumbler of it. Anyways, I thought it was right cool that both Widmore and the whiskey were in the same episode.

I caught tonight's episode of Once Upon a Time and also immediately noticed the Widmore/whiskey connection to LOST. I also think we'll be seeing more references to the older show. (I wonder if Alcatraz won't offer the occasional reference as well).

Has no one else noticed on Once Upon a Time that Regina's house number is 108?
I started watching Community this weekend and loved it. Any show that turns a foosball game into an anime battle is a show I want to watch. Now I need to go back and watch the first two seasons.
I managed to miss that one, Booky, but now I'm on the prowl for LOST references in Once Upon A Time, and found another reference to numbers from the pilot episode that also appears in the little intro of the newer ones (right before the title card): the clock in the town square was originally stopped at 8:15 (Oceanic 815) until Emma arrived in town and began changing things.
And though not related to LOST, there's a lot of wordplay in the characters' names as compared to their fairy tale equivalents (such as Evil Queen - Regina or Jiminy Cricket - Dr Hopper). And as ABC is owned by Disney, names from that company's other properties are fair game; in the mine collapse episode, there's a dalmatian named Pongo (right out of 101 Dalmatians).
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
I heard that there was also a LOST reference in the pilot of OUaT when Emma wakes up in the jail cell, but I haven't watched the show yet (something about how it was shot showing her eye/pupil or something like that), so I'm not really sure.... So who do you think is going to die on Sunday's episode? I have a feeling that it probably won't be one of the main characters, but am not entirely sure

I started watching Once Upon a Time. I don't have TV so I watch the episodes online at abc.com. So far, I really like it. I love how all the fairy tale stories are interconnected. I thought that was really cool.
I'm wondering
Also, I'm wondering what character Henry is supposed to be. Ideas? He wouldn't tell Emma. I'm not sure whether or not he was the little boy who gave Dr. Hopper/Jiminy Cricket the umbrella or not. Even if he was, it never says what character he is. He just tells Emma that she's not ready to know yet.
Which brings up something interesting. In our world, everybody is related the same way they were related back in fairy tale land, right? If so, how can Henry be a character at all? Because he was born 18 years after they all were brought to our world so he never would have existed back in that world. Or is he someone who would have been born to Emma in fairy tale land anyway if there had never been a curse? Opinions?

Oh, and also about Henry:
I'm totally hooked on Once Upon a Time...I thought the previews looked cheesy, but it is SO fun to see all the different fairy tale characters translated to a modern setting with a twist. With such a vast world of stories to choose from, I expect to see SO many people pop up. I know that

I too am curious to see how they plan on making this story last. It looks like that in the next few episodes, people are going to start figuring out what's going on, so they can't keep this ruse up forever. Eventually everything is going to come to climax, but will it be within one season, or can they make this stretch? I'm not sure.
Then again, who ever thought that a show about a plane crash could could sustain itself for seven seasons?

No one. Certainly not Damon Lindelof and J.J. Abrams (and later, Carlton Cuse). By the way, LOST ran for six, not seven seasons. They didn't believe it would get picked up by ABC but all the same, they planned out the general story and character arcs for 12 episodes.

Once Upon a Time- Henry:
SpoilerThere's some speculation that Henry may somehow be the reincarnation of the Evil Queen's father, since they share the same name. It does seem like an odd coincidence to have two characters named the same given the fact that it's pretty much never done that way on television.
Once Upon A Time-
I'm hooked on this show, it has gotten better which each episode. And you all must have been BIG on Lost to see a 'reference' quite frequently. I loved Lost, but it's the last thing on my mind when I sit down to this show. Love it.
Pan Am-
I've enjoyed this series so far, some ups and some downs. But overall very nicely done. I haven't seen the latest episode yet, will do so tomorrow. I'm only upset that the show seems to be struggling. I hope it survives another season, gaining steam to allow for even more seasons.
Grimm-
I saw the first few episodes, and while I thought it was good I quit. Good, but not one that I really needed to follow. It wasn't my kind of show I guess.
I tried several other new series this year, but none stuck with me. Terra Nova was ok, but not nearly what I expected. Tim Allen's new show ditto, good but I wanted more. The only other show I am sticking with, a half hour sitcom- "Whitney". I know, ratings on IMDb is low for the show, I admit it isn't a good quality show, but among the dramas it's nice to sit back to a dumb comedy. I don't expect anything great from it, and so it has survived with me.
This past Sunday SyFy aired "Neverland" a 'two-part miniseries'. Second episode aired on Monday- and both were on repeatedly, probably still is.
I just finished watching the first part, (2 hrs). I really really enjoyed it. James Hook is played by Rhys Ifans, (known to me for playing Luna's father in Deathly Hallows- I know the name but too much of a hassle to spell ). I'll be watching part two tomorrow, already DVR'd, also 2 hrs long.

I assumed that Regina had named Henry after adopting him and that Regina named Henry after her father because she loved her father so much and wanted to remember him by giving her son the same name. Although, I suppose it is possible that he's the reincarnation of her father.
@gymfan, that's what I thought happened about the Jiminy Cricket story line
Really looking forward to seeing more future (Disney) fairytales. Not trying to be offensive, but I'm definitely interested to see how the writers will portray

I thought "Neverland" was really great for a SyFy miniseries. It actually pulled some pretty good ratings too.
Even though it was four hours in length, I think it actually had potential to be a complete season instead of a miniseries. Some of the plots and character development were a bit rushed and I think if they had a few more episodes, things could have been fleshed out a little more than they were.
Charlie Rowe was amazing as Peter. Someone commented that he reminded them of a young David Tennant and I can totally see that. I'd love it if they could develop a series about the Lost Boys and their adventures.
Yes, more than 4 hours would have been nice, but I'm happy it's not a full season. It could have been more fleshed out, and less rushed. Although a story of the Lost Boys would have been great. They all did great, and Charlie Rowe is terrific in the role.
Whenever it hits DVD, I plan on buying it. I love the story of Peter Pan. I have Disney's animated version- (disliked the sequel though). I have Finding Neverland. I have the 2003 version of Peter Pan too. I hate Hook though. This will be a nice addition to my PP collection.
