Well, I got to see 'Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince' (finally) in IMAX 3-D. I have to say, and I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think it's my favorite HP film yet!
That's right, it passes up my previous favorite, 'Prisoner of Azkaban'!

The 3-D was absolutely amazing, by the way!

I'm looking forward to seeing G.I. Joe...that is, if I can get to the theatre before it leaves. I've been getting a lot of mixed messages about it, though. Some say the action and effects are great, others say it's a waste of time and that it really is no good at all. :- Guess I'll just have to watch it and see.

Well, Tim Burton is only a producer, not the director.

Although he's just a producer, it would still be worth seeing, definately :)

Although this is somewhat off topic to current films (sorry), I find it amusing the number of movies with "9" in the title coming out this year. There was District 9 a few weeks ago, then 9 this week, and in November a film version of the musical Nine is going to be released starring Daniel Day-Lewis. Its also funny that all three of these have Oscar potential as well (9 in the animated feature bracket of course).
