Aw. That was short-lived, but fun! Thanks, johobbit!
I've loved reading everyone else's thoughts on Ted Dekker, and it's amazing to meet so many other Dekkies. Speaking of Dekkie, your thoughts on why you enjoy Dekker's writings completely inspired me.
So, I was wondering, what did other Dekker fans think of Green? I honestly picked it up and couldn't get through it. It just had a different feel from the rest of the Circle Trilogy. It was a lot darker, I think. Maybe I'll read it someday, but I doubt it. I won't take offense if others liked it though.

I thought Green was very good but not quite as good as the rest of the Circle Trilogy. There were some great story developments and characters, the beginning just seemed a bit sloppily-written and it felt a little divorced from the original books. Yes, it was darker in parts than the originals but not overly so (there were some scenes that were rather intense though).
