"Jo" could be interpreted as either (although the male version is usually "Joe"), but I am definitely a female (hobbit).

I have a feeling the the majority of members on this forum are female.... I guess we'll just have to wait and see though!

I'm female as well. I always assume that everyone knows that by default (graphics and username?), but I've been surprised now and then by someone thinking I'm a guy. ;))
