So I have to say, I'm a smidge annoyed at HitGrab for not communicating very well about how the weekend event works because I know out of all of my friends that can currently hunt in the Library, only one person figured out how to start it besides me. So here's the deal....

The Pocketwatch Mouse drops the assignment. But it's not like the other assignments where you can't get it if you're currently working on one. It puts the folder holding the assignment in your inventory (Special page), and then when you're ready to work on it, you simply open it and that accepts it. So you need to get the drop now (cause I think it will be taken away tomorrow) but you can open it and complete it at any time. You could do it a year from now if you want to. It doesn't interrupt any current assignment you're working on or anything.

I'm hoping that since this wasn't communicated very well how this one works they'll either extend this special weekend event or host it again in the future.

At any rate, my current Zurreal progress....

I got the items off of the Master Burglar and Centaur Mice, as well as 1/3 of the items I need off of the Ghost mice in the Mousoleum.
I'm kicking myself for missing the Forbidden Grove closing earlier today cause I need those three Realm Ripper Mice, but I think this will take me a long enough time to get all of this stuff as it is.

I'm really hoping that I get the assignment before they end it tomorrow! It sounds like a pretty easy assignment for being worth as much as it is.

I completed my tower run successfully, and in so doing completed my assignment. I'm hanging out in the library so as to get the assignment, and while doing it I started a library assignment (a 30 point one). We'll see how this goes.

EDIT: Nabbed my assignment, and only need three more mice to complete my current one. This has gone better than I expected

I'm halfway done with the Zurreal assignment. Course the half that's done is the easy half.

I'm currently working hanging out in the Forbidden Grove waiting on Realm Ripper number 1 (just a few more minutes!). After that, I think it may finally be time to get my Cackle Lantern. I could really use that bonus fire salt drop since I'm going to need to craft more Inferno Havarti and that's the one cheese I don't have just sitting around.

By the way, since we have a couple MH newbies again, I thought I'd redo the Mice-that-can-only-be-caught-with-SuperBrie list so those people know when to pull out their SuperBrie and when they might want to save it for later.

Well, I started my acrostic assignment:

Lucky! Are those free/safe to take? And where are they located (I've seen them before, but lost them after a few updates...

They are free and safe to take, but they are sometimes difficult to complete.

To do a survey you must me on MHgame.com (not facebook). Click on the "Get more" tab under the super brie at the top of the page. Then click on what looks like a pyramid of gold bricks (at the top of the tab). Scroll down, and you'll find surveys. The one that offers 23 pieces is trustworth, and it's the only one I'll do.

Now, before starting a survey, they ask you very repetitive questions. (What's your zip code, how old are you, what's your race, occupation, highest level of education, annual income, etc...) They seem to ask you these questions between two and four times. They'll also ask you some questions trying to find you a survey (Do you own a cell phone, what are your favourite beverages, how much television do you watch per week, which of these stores have you shopped in, etc.....)

If you meet the criteria for the survey, you'll know it. The questions will start being much more survey-like. If you get into a survey, you're good; complete it and you'll get your SB+. However, several times, you'll feel like you just keep answerring the same questions again and again and again, only to see a message like, "Sorry, we don't have a survey for you, try again later."

Any ways, you either love them, or loathe them. Good luck

The good news is, I'm one mouse away from completing the Zurreal assignment (catching him may be a different story). The bad news is, the mouse I need is one last Realm Ripper and he won't be back around for another 19.5 hours.

So I'm hanging out in the Muridae Market collecting Papyrus. Seemed like a good idea at the time.

However, several times, you'll feel like you just keep answerring the same questions again and again and again, only to see a message like, "Sorry, we don't have a survey for you, try again later."

I ran out of cheese while I was in class But I'm back on Tier 1 trying to get enough Tier 6 potions to keep me there for a while. If you mean on FB itself, I caught all but two mice and have a bunch of bronze crowns, so there's not much to post I figured I'd try a different base here and see how it affects my loot drops. But yeah now that's school has started I'm only gonna be on in the evening and early morning usually. Or do you mean on here? Well there wasn't too much to report just having fun bouncing back and forth. Getting closer and closer to Knight (I'm at 97%)

I'm currently in Dojo trying to get more tokens to get more cheese so I can go into the Meditation Room and try to get Shards so I can make Rumble Cheese so I can enter the Pinnacle Chamber so I can catch the Master of the Dojo and get the Onyx stone which I need for the ACRONYM.

Whew, that's a looong sequence of events. I am really having no luck in Dojo. I have the Ambush trap and the Explosive base armed right now. I've tried all kinds of combinations with the Ambush and Mutated Venus traps and the Dehydration and Explosive bases. Nothing seems to be working. I've been here for two days now and have only gotten one token. I was doing much better a few weeks ago when I first entered Dojo. I was getting five to eight tokens or more per day. I don't know what happened. I can't remember my set-up but I'm pretty sure it was the Mutated Venus + Dehydration base. And I didn't even have my lucky golden shield then which I do now!

Anyway, speaking of surveys. I've done two over the past couple weeks. They can be very frustrating because I answer so many questions and then "Oh, no, you don't qualify". But still, sometimes they do work. I completed one worth 11 SB today and one that was worth 14 a week or two ago.

It's hard to find ones that match to me because I don't watch TV or own one, don't have a smartphone, am very outdoorsy and adventureous, don't play video games or computer games (other than MH), live in Alaska, only use one brand of makeup, don't have any type of insurance other than health, don't have a child, and was from a very small town so I didn't have a huge variety of stores to shop from. And since I have no car, I normally shop at Fred Meyer while I'm at college because it's close. So I don't apply to ones that want TV viewers, people who use many brands of makeup, gamers, smartphone users, car owners, life or car insurance owners, mothers/fathers, or people who shop at lots of different stores (many of the ones listed we don't even have in Alaska) which encompasses most of the surveys offered.

The other day, I got one in Spanish!! While I can't speak much farther than a simple "Hello, how are you? What's your name?" conversation, I've had enough Spanish and enough of it is similar to English that I can usually get the gist of what is being said when reading it. So I stumbled along for awhile until it said "How much Spanish do you understand?" and I put "25% or less" and they said "Sorry you don't qualify". Probably, they were afraid I wouldn't be able to understand well enough.

But I'm back on Tier 1 trying to get enough Tier 6 potions to keep me there for a while.

This is sort of what I was asking. I saw you working on Tier 5 and I was wondering how many potions you've collected and how many you're aiming for. You look like you're doing very well by the way!

Yea, I've used the Catch Rate Estimates a few times. I'm still using the Ambush trap with the Explosive base but it seems to be working a little better now. I've gotten two tokens in the past hour and a half.

I wrapped up my Zurreal assignment this morning by crafting the Zurreal's Folly trap and I got a freebie Scholar Charm upon completion. Bring on Zurreal!

Yesterday while I was waiting on the Forbidden Grove to close again, I hit the Muridae Market and actually did pretty well on collecting Papyrus. I'm up to 41 total. Course the depressing part is that I'm not even halfway there yet. :O 57 more to go!

I nabbed my "T-mouse" overnight.
