There is definitely no "a" in definite.
The Mind earns by doing; the Heart earns by trying.
Thank you all for the lovely birthday wishes! I had a wonderful day with my family complete with presents, pie, and board games.

A very happy birthday to NarniaWeb's Auntie, coracle!
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
Happy birthday, coracle!
Some days you battle yourself and other monsters. Some days you just make soup.
coracle, a very Happy and Blessed Birthday to you, NarniaWeb's encouraging Auntie! I am so privileged to know you not only on the forum, but in offline life too!
Now, I think I post this same cake every year for you but it is the only one I can find that is related to your lovely username ... Reep's coracle in the Sea of Lilies.

These wishes are arriving a bit late in your current neck of the woods, coracle, but happy birthday! Hope you have a lovely year ahead of you filled with wonderful happenings!
Happy belated Birthday, coracle!!!

Thank you everyone. My birthday usually runs for two days internationally, stretching from home in New Zealand timezone to the western USA one.
This year I had a bit of an off-day on the actual date, so today has been a bit of a rest as well.
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
A very Happy Birthday to aileth! Wishing you such a wonderful day in all your explorations. I am abundantly grateful to know you here on the forum and having had the privilege of meeting in offline life too. Plus, being a fellow Canadian.
I will link to the cake, because the image does not fit on here.
And because of this memorable time in your life ...

The description of this cake is as follows:
A wonderful British classic made with a super light and fluffy sponge, with fresh cream, fresh berries and filled with light buttercream. Happy 90th Birthday your Majesty!
Boy, does that sound delicious! So, it was made in honour of her Majesty's 90th birthday, cool. And now I am subtracting a number of decades and passing it on to you.

Love berries and cream on a cake! Perfectly suitable, jo, as always. Don't detract too many decades, though--some days I certainly feel like ninety--a sure sign of extreme youth, they say. Not that we agree with the ubiquitous they, by any means.

And looking forward to seeing you again, hopefully sooner rather than later. Who can tell, eh?
Now my days are swifter than a post: they flee away ... my days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle
Happy birthday, aileth!!!

Indeed, hoping your day has been special, aileth!
