Aww, thank you, everyone! 🙂 (And jo, typewriters might be old fashioned, but sometimes I think it'd be worth it in order to get rid of distractions! 
) This has been one of the weirdest birthdays I've ever had, since we spent most of it traveling to see the eclipse for tomorrow. But we did go out at a restaurant I like, and I'm spending it with friends and family, so that's the important part. 🙂

A huge, totally eclipsed Happy Birthday, @stargazer! May it be a wonderfully memorable day. I must admit that I am rather envious that this magnificent solar event falls right on your birthday. How very cool! 
So very good to have met you via NarniaWeb, not only online, but also in person at various Moots. And I'm glad we can monitor the Spare Oom as a team. Thank you for all you bring to the forum, and have for years now! 
This, in cake form, nicely represents the surreal beauty that is occurring in the sky in just a few hours.

Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone! That's a nice eclipse cake, Jo! (We had eclipse-themed food, including cupcakes, at our gathering). It was awesome to see the eclipse and to share it with friends.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
