I was talking about the 17 slices, the joes pizzas we get have 12 pieces for each pizza.
In regular commercial takeout pizza, I like green peppers and onions.
In restaurant pizza, my favorite variety is margherita (as long as the tomatoes are not too big). The more basil, the better.
The ones at CiCi's are either 8 or 12 depending on how the cut them. I knew there would be others who could out eat me, but I just haven't met them yet.
One good topping I've had is ham with a cheesesteak sause (at least I think it is cheesesteak). I've had it with peperroni as well but it's not as good.
Something I haven't heard mentioned yet is dessert pizza. At the CiCi's I frequent, they have an apple crisp desert pizza. It's decent, but I usually go for the good stuff instead of desert when there. But when I was a kid, in Boulder, Colorado, there was a pizza buffet called Giovanni's that is now closed. I remember they had blueberry pizza and a few others that I can't recall off the top of my head. Interesting stuff.
Be watching for the release of my spiritual warfare novel under a new title: "Call to Arms" by OakTara Publishing. A sequel (title TBD) will shortly follow.
Fk, I suppose you're one of those people that picks the peppers off their pizza and leaves them for the trash. Sacrilege!
You must have me confused with somebody else. I like peppers on pizza.

This is too funny! I was JUST going to mention this myself as I was reading through this thread and on the last post it was mentioned.
Since you mentioned dessert pizza I'll leave move on to a Fruit Pizza my mom made when I was little. She'd actually serve it for breakfast. The crust was some kind of sweet bread, with a cream cheese based spread. And then every possible kind of fruit you can imagine on top of it. Soooooo good. I remember blueberries, strawberries, and kiwis for sure. Probably bananas as well. Looked kind of like a stained glass window.
Ah, if we're going to mention dessert pizza we must mention vegetable pizza! Traditionally a vegetable pizza is made with cream cheese and ranch dip rather than tomato sauce. Great toppings include broccoli, halved cherry tomatoes and peppers.
As for a dessert pizza, I present the rocky road crunch: A pizza with marshmallow, chocolate sauce, peanuts and a cookie crust. Now that is some good stuff.
Pretty simple favorites: Sausage, black olives, mushrooms.
Don't mind: Pepperoni, ham, Canadian bacon, pineapple.
Don't really like: Red or green peppers.
