I haven't posted in here in FAR too long, so here's a few of my current favorite things. :)

This dress is so darling! http://www.anthropologie.com/anthro/cat ... plateType=

And I'm currently trying to talk myself out of buying this pair of boots... http://www.ninewest.ca/store/product.asp?productid=3902

And from that blog I linked to a bit further up the page, here are some of my favorite outfits:
http://theclothes.blogspot.com/2009/11/ ... eable.html << one post where she makes as many outfits as possible with one dress.

http://theclothes.blogspot.com/2009/10/ ... et-up.html An outfit inspired by The Brothers Bloom movie, which I love. :D

http://allthishappiness.blogspot.com/20 ... about.html Looove this girl's outfit!

As well as this girl's: http://qsdaydream.blogspot.com/2009/11/girl-in-red.html

I got a black blazer from forever21. I really like it.

I love jeans. That's the only casual kind of pants I wear. Jeans are just so.....I don't know. They just are.

I was told that there's a fashion thread so I had to come by and visit!

Cons: Missed out on the Jimmy Choo for H&M release. Leather leggings sold out everywhere and doubled in price outside of retail. Not worth it to me.

Pros: Bought a pair of studded half-gloves at 25% off plus $10 off. Am very happy.

I just bought this most fabulous dress at a thrift shop today. I'm having a murder mystery party for my 16th birthday, because my sister thought doing my usual sleepover was too boring, so my mom very nicely figured something else out. :P It's a medieval murder mystery party, and I assigned myself the role of queen, so I had to go find a dress. And it's awesome. I found it in the section where there were all these dresses with prices ranging from $45 to $100, but this one didn't have a price tag, and they gave it to me for $10. B-) I"m so excited I have to post a photo. :p

That's my sister beside me. She's a knight. Notice the gold chain belt. Doesn't she look awesome? B-) Our clothes look better in person, but this is good enough. :p

I am on the hunt for durable hobo bags, but for as cheap as possible. Anyone have any suggested locations to purchase from?

Hmm. How about Ross or Marshall's? Their prices are pretty good. Payless sometimes has purses, as do JC Penney's, Kohl's, etc.

I've missed this thread. :D Here are some links! Ha, some of these are super ancient since I've been saving them forever. As always, 'ware the sketchy links & comments on Jezebel.
retro-inspired Ralph Lauren stuff

'60s-inspired Anna Sui stuff Some of it is Yikes.

pic from a Mumbai fashion show So the drama. I love it. B-)

Isaac Mizrahi also retro-inspired I kind of like #4 and love 6-8.

Decorated bobby pins This is SO CUUUUUUUTE. I so want to do this but I'm sure I'd look doofus-y. :( :p

1800s (I forgot the precise year) dresses

Tippi Hedren's Model Life (No, I did not come up with that one myself) ;)

Invisible shoes?? Also more crazy shoes that look unwearable.

those shoes look VERY uncomfortable. Some of thos 60's inspired outfits were very cute, but some of them were gross. You could pull pieces from almost all of them though, and use them in another outfit. I LOVE the plaid suits...

I was just at Macy's yesterday and they had the cutest top...but it was $150...I don't have that kind of money to spend on a shirt :( but I loved it...

everything I wear comes from bags of clothes that people give me.....

it's mostly brands like American Eagle and Gap!

Well, Aezelle, your very pretty dress got me going through Maggie Sottero's Collections. :)

A Princess-y Dress

An interesting concept... Pretty, but I wouldn't want it for my wedding dress.

A very pretty dress that reminds me of Padme for some reason....

And a wedding dress of shame.... [NOTE: This is on the edge, so viewers be forewarned.]

This reminds me of that wedding dress poem....

Marry in white, you'll have chosen right,
Marry in grey, you'll go far away,
Marry in black, you'll wish yourself back,
Marry in red, you'll wish yourself dead,
Marry in blue, your love will be true,
Marry in pearl, you'll be in a swirl,
Marry in green, ashamed to be seen,
Marry in yellow, ashamed of the fellow,
Marry in brown, you'll live out of town,
Marry in pink, your spirits will sink.

So much for old fables.... * remembers another old fable that marrying in red is good luck *

If i am gonna get married in the future it defantly won't be in pearl or white because i like to be different. Also i would be one of those people who would rather get married a the beach in swimmer rather then in a formal place with hundereds of guests.

That's funny. I think every wedding I've been to, the bride was wearing white or one of its cousins. :p

Fashion trends of the Aughts (Did I spell that right?)

Adorable formal top Is it just me, or does it seem like it should be a foot longer and a cute party dress? It's kind of strange in blouse form. I'd rather have it as a dress.

Interesting black dress Needs a camisole underneath, but it's awesome.

Pretty floaty layer skirt

I looooove this top

Ooh, and this heart necklace! I am such a sucker for anything with hearts and/or lockets.

Tunic I rather like

Gorgeous retro hair accessories

Another retro charm necklace I'm also a sucker for old-fashioned keys.

Absolutely adorable boots

button headbands Too cute.

This dress is cute, and I like the tucks and draping (right words?), but I've tried on several dresses like this, but with a tiered skirt instead. It looks otherwise the same, but the price! That's ridiculous.

i want to marry in cream most likely...or a really light blue or purple...that would be cool.

I liked mostly everything in your links Mar, except for the second to the last dress. The choice of fabrics didn't seem to go well togethor...But I do love that last one (the model kinda looks like Kiera Knightley :p )

I would like to Marry in a White, cream and red. But i want to make my own dress.. it will be a mix of silk, lace and ribbons, more likely in a princess cut. what do you think?

Lol talking about fashion. I was chatting with my mum about how she got a new casorol dish and how she had got dad to cut one of the handles of so it could fit in the oven. She said two of her friends were devistated that she had done that. She couldn't understand why, so i was like. Okay let me put it this way, it's like if i got an Amarni (hopeuflly i have spelt that right. sorry if i haven't) jacket and then cut the sleaves off. Mum: well if u didn't want the sleaves you could do that. Me: 'no' you do 'not' cut the sleaves off a Amarni jacket. she still didn't understand. lol

These are a few wedding dress photos i found:

I remember the days of childhood
They told a story of Romeo and Juliet
I remember thinkin’ it was so romantic
But I never thought it would hurt so.
