I just bought a fakely leather jacket the other day. It has fuzzy warm stuff inside. And a hood. It is beautiful. ^_^
For fall weather? I loves boots muchly. Especially my purple ones. And my fake Ugg-ish ones that have no grip on the bottom so when it snows I spend all my time falling. And hats. Hats are awesome. They add so much to just a simple everyday outfit.

Fall styles are what I look forward to all summer when it's too hot to wear anything but shorts and a t-shirt. Blazers, cozy sweaters, knit tights, boots...especially boots. I really love the sweater dress/tights/boots combination. And I adore scarves of every kind. There's nothing like a lovely scarf to make an ordinary outfit special.
Some Modcloth finds:
Classy black and silver
LOVE this one (with a tank top or cardigan, of course). It looks like an autumn leaf turned into a dress.
I usually look at Modcloth for dresses, but their coats are adorable!
This one has tiny bows on the pockets. How darling is that?
Does anyone have any favorite color combinations for fall?

I really like the first jacket you posted, I have one similar and love it.
The second dress would look best with a grey cardigan. Not black anyway.
I went shopping yesterday, and bought -
-A vintage, brown hat. I don't know how to explain it, or what it's called, but it's getting very popular, and it's very vintagey. xDD I love it, it'll be lovely for winter.
-A gray shrug. I got it at the thrift store, I didn't need it or anything, but it was cute and cheap.
-Brown shoes. Also from the thrift store, a little big, but really cute for winter.
-Shorts. I'm trying to buy a lot of summer clothes right now, because they're cheap, and I'll be needing them for vacation.
-A grey and blue sweater dress. My first one!! I'm really excited about it, because I've been wanting one for forever, and it's really cute with leggings and a black sweater. Can't wait to wear it!

I've never been around on here before, but I do look through all the awesome things you all post here from time to time. I absolutely love, love, love fashion and shopping for unique clothes. I've only bought a few things recently because I'm waiting for some early fall things to go on sale before I go out and spend on them. I did buy these though:
~A pair of really cute yoga pants, that I'm going to use more for jogging and dancing workouts.
~I also ordered this sweater a few days ago and I cannot wait to get it in the post soon! It looks so comfortable and soft, plus I love the cute strip colours. I'm getting the lofty red and navy strip one.
And here are a few things I wish I could have:
Since I'm a rider, I suppose I could just go out wearing my regular riding jodhpurs, but these are just so much more fashionable looking, hence the crazy price. Oh well...I can't even pick between the black or the brown ones.

And I'm absolutely in love with this dress, but it's ridiculously expensive as well. The lace details on the sleeves are beautiful and the floral pattern is so autumy. I'm suppose I'm going to settle with admiring the picture instead.

@Elanor: Oh my gosh, I love sweater dresses! They're so cozy and warm for fall. Reminds me that I should go and look for another one next time I visit my favorites stores.

I know, Quin, I've always wanted them, because I love how they look - but I just started wearing leggings a year or so ago, and a lot of sweater dresses tend to be somewhat tight - so it took me awhile to find one that really works, and I'm in love with it. I'd like a few more, too.

My favorite outfit during the fall has to be the sweaterdress/leggings/boots combination. Since I only have a couple of sweaterdresses, though, my typical outfit to school is skinny jeans and boots (which aren't a problem - I have four pairs of them; brown, short black, tall black, and gray ), along with a loose top (or a tight top and cardigan). Scarves and jackets are a lot of fun, too. If I'm brave enough, I'll wear flats with my skinny jeans - even when it's snowing. I never wear gloves or winter hats. Not sure why.
My favorite colors for fall are rusty reds, navy blues, dark greens, and dark purples; grays, browns, blacks, and creams are at the top as well, and vintage lace and ruffles make me squee. I'm also trying to broaden my selection of shirts, because they are just so handy. They go with everything, and you feel like you have more clothes because it technically gives you more outfits to wear.
That leather jacket sounds amazing, Nionel! I've been looking around for one in vain for ages. I have trouble with them fitting properly. My shoulders are too narrow, or small, or something.
Mal, I LOVE that red jacket. Modcloth has the cutest stuff! I just wish it was a tad less expensive.
I want to see pictures of your new hat, Elanor! I really love hats, I just can't pull them off. Not the winter ones anyway. And hurray for finding a sweaterdress! Those are such fun, and oh-so cute! Is it gray and blue striped, or just a grayish blue color? *has to say she loves shrugs as well* Very classy.
That dress is super cute, Quinlin! So autumn-y. And yoga pants have got to be the most comfy workout things ever. I have a pair, and they're nearly ripped at the seams - I've worn them so much. Great for jogging and pilates!

I should take pictures - I can only do some hats, so I only have a few. A black newsboys which I never wear, two chrocheted one's, one that can be worn as a beret, a tan fedora, and this new one.
The dress is mostly gray, just at the tops it has those twisted rectangles of blue. They're probably a name for them, but I have no idea what it is.

I bought those silver shorts yesterday because they were more than 50% off. They were $50 and i got them for $20.
*finally stops lurking in here and decides to post*
I'm looking to buy a black dress. Mainly because the Little Black Dress is one of those staple items that I don't but really should have, but also because I have a family funeral coming up and want something a little bit more formal than my usual black sweater/skirt combo. The trick is I really don't have enough money to buy more than one dress right now and I'm having a hard time finding a dress that is subdued enough for a funeral but also fancy enough to be a nice LBD. So far I've found three dresses that I really like:
http://www.modcloth.com/Womens/Dresses/-Dramatic-Arts-Dress This one from Modcloth which I think is super cute but is probably a bit much for a funeral
This one is nice but a little high on price
http://www.target.com/p/Merona-Women-s-Belted-Dress-w-Elbow-Sleeve-Assorted-Colors/-/A-13558609 I like the cut on this one, and the price is good, but most polyester clothing causes a slight allergic reaction so I'm not sure I want to run that risk
Thoughts? Suggestions?
Ooh, daughter of the King, all of those LBDs look lovely! I really like the first one though, because of the neck cut and the little bit of conservative 'flair' the flowers add to it. Personally, I don't think that the dress is too much for a funeral, since the flowers, cut, and length are all appropriate and not an obvious statement look. The other two are very pretty as well, but if you think you would have a reaction to the fabric in the third one, I wouldn't take that chance.

daughter of the King, those dresses are really cute. I like the first one best.
You have a black newsboy, Elanor, and you don't wear it! I got a black eyelet newsboy for Christmas in 2008 and I wear it a lot. I need to get another one, because the one I have is starting to faded and I probably shouldn't wear it for church any more.
On Tuesday, I bought another pair of earring on Etsy. They should be here tomorrow. This time they are purple and blue. Here is the link: http://www.etsy.com/listing/83457213/amethyst-teardrop-and-blue-crystal-wire. I can't wait to see how they look with my wardrobe.

I know, I know - I feel bad about it, but it's a little worn out and a little too small. Though I do love it. I need a new one. I'd like a gray one. Oh, and I LOVE those earrings. I always enjoy buying new ones.
I like the dresses you posted, DotK - I think the first one is my favorite, I think it would be suitable for a funeral and something lighter, and I also love the last one!!
