Elanor, yeah. I wish we still were things like that all the time,too. In a way, i think it looks better than most of what we have now.

I know, most of what we have know doesn't compare to that . . there are so few really pretty dresses anymore, that are decent.

I'm on the ball this time

What do fairies have to do with autumn, you ask? Good question: I don't have an answer. But the greens sorta just fit with the leaves.

I've been trying to branch out in combining colors in my outfits. Usually I'll have a neutral (usually black) with one color. Black and red and black and purple are my favorites.

I think it's fascinating that most colors can be mixed, as long as they are the same tone/intensity. Imogen with Inside Out Style talks about this: http://www.insideoutstyleblog.com/2010/05/choosing-colours-part-2.html For example, pale yellow and dark green together might look off. Of course I lean towards the darker colors, they make me happy. I have probably one outfit that's bright and colorful, all of the others are muted and jewel tones. I make up for it with shiny jewelry

I bought this dress on sale and broken at Urban Outfitters and fixed the seams and zipper. Now I feel very accomplished! I like it because it has a wintry feel and it's such a pretty color! And it has velour trimming on the sleeves, which is quite nice.

Just in time, I got mine done!

Went a little on the edge this time, starting with a picture from LWW, and building off of the colors in that...managed to reference at least two films.
