I've never heard of Rainbow sandals, but I hardly ever wear footwear like that so I'm not really familiar with the brands
I got a new dress that's sort of suitable for summer at last, but it's nice to layer up too.
(I need a full length mirror )
My friend had to make a few adjustments because it's clearly made for someone taller than me, but it fits fine now. I like how the cut gets longer at the back
There is a crack in everything, that's how the light gets in.
I don't post in this thread as often as I should-for I browse it faithfully-but I just had to poke in my head and say that I think your dress is adorable Shantih! I always like your style, and wish I could dress like that, but I wouldn't look good at all. I really like your sweater/wrap, too!
Since I'm in here, I wonder if anyone is familiar with Lindsay Phillip Switchflops? The store I work at sells them, and I've gotten rather hooked! I think the switchable straps are a brilliant idea, and I just bought my second pair of shoes. My first pair are the Lilly cork ones, and while they're really sweet and cute, they do tend to give me blisters if I wear them for too long. So I just bought a pair of Lulu black ones to wear for everyday. I wore them for a couple hours on Saturday and had no problems with blisters, which I'm excited about. I blister easily.
What sort of jacket are you looking for, IlF? I'd suggest to go for something that's not too bright or patterned, cause the jeans are so, well, red.
yeah i was looking towards a black or darkbrown jacket, nothing over the top
this oen would be good if it were black http://www.tulle4us.com/tulle/jackets%2 ... ats/M7480/ . i am sure i will be able to get a simlair blac one somewhere.
I think a black, white or a dark navy blue would suit your red jeans ILF!! White would look maybe too adorable though, but it might look good.

I found the perfect jacket and top at cotton on but i didn't have much money at the time..... i still don't.
Awe I never like that. I don't like shopping when i know i'm going to set my eyes on something I cannot get because I don't have the money for it yet. I hope you get your jacket ILF!!

so the other day I didn't go real real shopping- just went to a thrift store. I got a pair of capris, a black skirt, and a few tshirts. I still feel like a need more though...well I definitely need shoes. And some shorts would be nice .
I have a lot of summer clothes but not many winter. For years it use to be the other way around.
Some lovely little necklaces:

^this bracelet is amazing; I love the faint colours; I'm a very neutral person and that is perfect....well, except that it's sold out...
I love the cuteness-from-last-century feel going on in all this jewellery....

wow those are just gorgeous! That site has some pretty cool jewelry
IlF: haha I actually have more winter than summer. Although I have very little of both, or little that go together at least. I have at least five skirts that don't have a top to match .
Oh wow those are gorgeous necklaces StudyMate! Since they are Alice in Wonderland inspired makes me love them the more. Thanks for showing me this because I might get one.

I hate having pants, skirts, shorts that have no tops to match them.
ILF; I know the feeling. I did a massive sort through of my wardrobe earlier this year and rid it of a bunch of stuff I either hadn't worn in ages, or didn't match anything (and I wasn't attached to it in the hopes of finding a match). All of which, by the way, is still sitting in the spare room waiting for the op shop trip. It does make it so much easier now when I open my closet to pick out clothing! (Although, I read somewhere once that women, on average, only use 20% of their wardrobe, aren't we odd?)
@Damsel; no worries, glad you liked the Alice stuff! I've seen a line of Disney Wonderland merchandise in other stores but it's the cutesy-plastic stuff, not so elegant.
I found this dress today while browsing and I'm tempted to buy it because I only have one other nice LBD and a lot of 21'sts this year.

This one I love because I'm a fan of cap sleeves, lace and I'm short so the length is just right! (And I have the same skin tone and similar hair colouring as the wearer, which I think gives me a more accurate idea of how it will suit tone-wise as it's an online dress. And we all know how risky online buying can be!)
SO, I was wondering, what is YOUR idea of the ideal Little Black Dress (LBD)? We all know how important having one is; they're classic, elegant, staple and very Audrey Hepburn (who, I believe, made them famous!)

I use more liek 80% of whats in my wardrobe since i don't really have that much. The only stuff i don't wear is the things that an auntie or a family member gave to me and i didn't liek them or are really old.
So I recently took a wardrobe inventory:
4 shirts (2 T's, 2 dressy)
4 skirts
3 shorts
3 pairs of pants (including jeans)
4 hoodies
That's all. I think I need to go shopping. O.o
I recently went to Goodwill (a thrift store) and found a pair of Bakers stilettos for 5$. Normally they push 100$! I was so excited. I also went through the clearance rack at Kohl's and found a hoodie that I'd been coveting marked down to 10 dollars from 34.
Good deals make me happy.
