...everyone wants to meet at least one actor from Lord of the Rings. That's so funny! You can definately tell we're all quite alike :p

Actually, I've never seen Lord of the Rings, so I didn't list any of the actors.

Sarah Mally herself gave it to me. ;)) She gave it to me after a harp recital that we both played at(she, Grace, and Steven took lessons from my teacher).. yup that's right, we live really near each other and I've been to the Bright Lights group that she leads. Small world...!

Wow, seriously? :) I've never really talked to the Mallys, but I've seen them at the IA capitol before... I saw Grace play the harp I believe...
And for Bright Lights concert around this area they stayed at my best friend's house. ;)) You're right, it is a small world!

1:Jesus Christ. Why I want to meet him? Uh, duh. :D

2:Stonewall Jackson. :-bd I like him because, he was a strong believer in Jesus Christ, & because he was so brave.

3:Brandon Heath. He sings great music, & doesn't seem to be vain about his popularity.

4:Steven Curtis Chapman. :D/ I love his music, & he seems to be a really nice guy.

5:Danny Kay. ;;) I like him because he's sooo funny.

Sarah Mally (founder of Bright Lights and author of Before You Meet Prince Charming, which I am currently reading.)

I've read that book too... and guess what? Sarah Mally herself gave it to me. ;)) She gave it to me after a harp recital that we both played at(she, Grace, and Steven took lessons from my teacher).. yup that's right, we live really near each other and I've been to the Bright Lights group that she leads. Small world...!

Wow, that is so cool. I wasn't even sure anyone on here, would have heard of her and you have actually talked to her. B-) Did you like the book?

smartypants, George W. Bush is a good one! I would really like to meet him as well! :)

Yes, it would be very wonderful!!! :D

And I've noticed a pattern...everyone wants to meet at least one actor from Lord of the Rings. That's so funny! You can definately tell we're all quite alike :p

Actually I did not list any! ;;) Though, I'm sure they would be nice to meet as well.

1. Will Poulter- For one thing, he seems to have a great personality and a modest demeanor at the same time, which I find endearing. Plus he's an actor and he's British, and I've always wanted to meet someone who was either one of those.

2. St. Lucy- She's my patron saint in real life, but I don't know much about her except that she gave her life for Christ when she was younger than I was. I would like to meet someone that courageous.

3. Any future far-flung descendants I might end up having. Just because that would be interesting.

4. Hayao Miyazaki- Even though I don't understand Japanese, I would be honored to meet him. His artistry as a director is amazing.

5. Aristotle. To take part in one of his lessons would be amazing.

3. Patrick Dempsey- he's really good on Grey's Anatomy
4. Shaun Cassidy and Parker Stevenson- I love the Hardy Boys!!!! :D :D :D
5. JESUS!!!!- it'd be very interesting to meet him :D :D

Did you like the book?

I know you asked Kat ( ;)) This seems to always happen... I answer questions intended for her. But of course, she can still answer, I'm just... commenting...) but, I just wanted to mention that I've read the book too. :) (BYMPC) It was good--I didn't enjoy it quite as much as "Making Brothers and Sisters Best Friends"... ;)) That was hilarious--Stephen is pretty funny. Anyone read that one?

Awww, only five? That's so hard.... Oh well, I'll try to narrow my list down.

No particular order:
1) Ted Dekker - I am a big fan of his books, and I would just love to sit down and talk to him about how he gets his ideas for his books. I'd also love to ask him about his opinion on some things going on in the world because he just generally seems like a really interesting person.
2) J. K. Rowling - I am also a big fan of her Harry Potter books and would absolutely love to talk with her about how she came up with the idea and how she goes about connecting everything. She's an excellent storyteller, so I'd love to know how she does it.
3) Skandar Keynes - He seems like a really interesting and funny person, and Edmund's my favorite Narnia character, so I'd love to talk with him about his role and things like that.
4) Douglas Gresham - Since Lewis is, well, dead and I can't meet him on this Earth (I could in Heaven though! :-bd), his stepson is the next best thing! I'd love to talk with Mr. Gresham about his stepdad and about what he thinks of the movies and what he thinks Lewis would think of them (since he'd probably be one of the people who knew Lewis best). And he just seems like a really nice person that I would get along with.
5) George W. Bush - I know a lot of people didn't really care for him, but I think he did a pretty good job, considering all he went through during his presidency. I'd like to thank him in person for his service and just talk about things in general. He seems like a person I think I could get along with really well.

In spite of the last two posts, Christ is not on my list. I already know him, so I can't put him on a list of people I'd like to meet. However, to have seen him in human form would have been quite a sight to see.

Amen, brother! Just what I would have liked to have written myself.

I already know Him too. But having a phone conversation with someone is not really the same as meeting them in person. Can we agree on that? ;)

I will reply to this in the book thread. Okay?

Five people?

Well, I would put "Christ" down on here since I'd like to meet him, but as FencerforJesus said, I already do know him. But still, meeting Him in person will be the best experience imaginable. :)
And, I would put down many authors and NWebbers, but I'll refrain from doing so and put just two. ;))

Hm, for the five though, in no particular order:

1) Joshua and Shannon Harris. I've met the Harris twins, Mr. Harris, and Joel Harris helping them set up for one of the conferences, but not Joshua Harris and his wife; it'd be pretty awesome to.

2) David Crowder * Band- I'm a huge, huge fan of their music so I would love to meet the band.

3) Toby Mac. Same as above. ^^

4) The lovely NWebbers Narnian at Heart and Dame_of_Narnia. <3!

5) The dear RuralNarniaFan and RamanduDaughter! <3!

6) (Okayokayokay, I know 6 isn't allowed but I *must* add this) Lousia May Alcott- she's by far one of my favourite authors, and I'd love to talk with her about writing, etc.

Eve - So I can run towards her and scream in Hollywoodesque slow motion as she's reaching for the fruit, "NoooooooOOOoooOOOoooooooo!"

:)) That's hilarious. Imagine, then, something extraordinary would happen afterwards...
