I’ve noticed that in the books, Reep’s ears are described as being “nearly as long as (though broader than) a rabbit's.”Even for a mouse that’s well over a foot high, that seems a bit big to me. And I’ve never seen any depiction (illustration, fanart, adaptation portrayal) of Reep with long ears.
I’m wondering if Lewis got the size proportion wrong, if I’m underestimating it, or Reep is simply a mouse with really big ears. If it’s the latter, I’d honestly like to see him like that in some future adaption, illustration or fanart.
