I think this is just a mistake on Barne's part. Georgie Henley has said that she won't be coming back either. Which is obviously impossible since she has a pretty good-sized part in the HHB and LB.

Yep, Aragorn2, and even William Moseley and Anna Popplewell said they wouldn't be back for VDT. Look where that got 'em.

Well...they could get an older man who looks VERY much like Ben Barnes. Great for Eustace's not recognizing him and character disconnect as we realize he is old, we are still young. Then have Ben Barnes back when he is young...?

I don’t think so. While there are some amazing make up artists out there, I don’t think that they have quite perfected the techniques needed to make a 30-year-old look 70. But there is a scene at the end of the next book where the young Caspian returns, so you never know!

He seems really busy. You know nothing is set in stone so you never know! He just might be in the next one as Caspian again! I think that would be so cool!

I doubt ben Barnes will play the old Caspian... it wouldn't look right at all. But I'm sure he'll return as the Caspian in Aslan's Country. It wouldn't make sense if they cast someone else.

they.better.NOT. that's one of the most emotional moments in SC. In fact, all scenes involving Caspian are emotional as he lost his wife and then son and stuff. Poor guy.

and if it's possible to turn Ben Barnes into a gruesome old man in Dorian Gray, I think it's not a difficult feat to make him look 70 in SC.

I don't see why Ben *wouldn't* come back for "The Silver Chair". He's supposed to become young again at the end. I hope he does come back for it!!

Oh yes, I suppose that that is true! I bet they'll bring him back if they possibly can, which seems rather likely. After all, these people do like cameos! (of which I have no complaint!!)
