@courtenay , Your guess is probably as good as mine. I went with "brown" because of the Baynes illustrations (as well as some cover art) showing Fledge as having that, but I'm also unsure if the books describe his coloring. (Also, specifying "chestnut" in the prompt would probably result in some inclusion of literal chestnuts in the picture. This bot has some interesting ideas about how to interpret keywords; I tried to generate a picture with "Medieval soldiers wearing turbans fighting unicorn in forest," for the Last Battle, only to receive medieval soldiers with unicorn horns fighting against a de-horned unicorn! )

I played around with some of this myself and came up with these:
@rilianix Those look pretty good! Jadis especially.

Hey, I have been working on Aravis and Shasta ai art. I finally got one that I like.
I'm with coracle on some of these. AI can be creepy especially when it distorts the human faces, but I did enjoy some of them. Loved the Reepicheep, Aslan singing Narnia's creation, and Dawn Treader pictures the most from this collection.
@Eustace ,
Your Cor and Aravis art is gorgeous. Aravis looks just like Kate from Bridgerton and I was previously thinking that the actress who plays her would make a good adult Aravis.

This is AI's attempt at Jadis, supposedly in Magician's Nephew. I think it turned out pretty well.
The artwork is very nice and authentic, but I still think Pauline Baynes was the best. Of course she had the advantage of working while C. S. Lewis was still alive. I don’t know what Lewis would have thought of Al. The Pevensies appear a little too perfect. The pictures are quite colorful, but they are also a bit artificial. Baynes added her color later, which was I think an improvement her already excellent work. Her artwork is more realistic.
I agree that Pauline Baynes's illustrations are way better than my AI picture. It's just fun to see what AI can come up with.
