...Is anybody still watching and enjoying? With the total lack of recent comments of likes, I can't tell.
I am! I don't tend to comment much, but I like seeing them.
Now my days are swifter than a post: they flee away ... my days are swifter than a weaver's shuttle
Thanks @aileth. 🙂 It's good to know folks are watching.
This next one is a felt-tip pen sketch inspired by the Tombs of Tashbaan...
This one may be a little misalligned in the middle because I had to patch the pieces together on my computer, as the whole thing wouldn't fit on my scanner.
22+" watercolor project inspired by The Wood Between the Worlds. Please note the reflection in the pool, I was proud of that bit!

Winter's Death, 2016
Marker drawing, 22"/55.88cm
This began as a commission, but morphed into a labor of love. The core image is the Pevensie girls riding on Aslan's back - designs inspired by Pauline Baynes, and photos of kids from church used as pose and shading reference - but it's also a symbolic picture of renewal or transformation. Dark into light, Witch's frozen kingdom towards Aslan's country, with the water lilies and paradise birds. The birds' coloring was based off of kingfishers, at the commissioner's request; the pink of the lilies is inspired by pink magnolia, which symbolized spring to my sisters and I as children; the golden light and the flying hawk outlined against the sky had personal meaning for the commissioner, with the gold being related to how he perceived heaven and the hawk being an imaginary friend/guardian figure.
Panel details to come later.
