I LOVE the Narnia music =)
Harry Gregson Williams has really done a fantastic job composing LWW and PC. I hope David Arnold fulfills all our "hopes and dreams" for the music for VDT.
I saw the movie....and was disappointed
I love the Narnia music, I think it was composed beautifully. Out of the first two movies so far, I like the LWW score the best. I LOVE the music during the battle scenes and during the coronation at Cair Paravel, those are my two favorite pieces out of the whole thing.
I did like the PC score too, and the song at the end, "The Call." And I liked that the score was very similar to LWW but had slight differences.

~C.S. Lewis
Can someone help me to identify this piano music from the second disc of the Prince Caspian DVD? I am a piano teacher, and I want to transcribe the music for one of my students, but I wanted to check first if there are recordings out there elsewhere, or if any sheet music already exists for the pieces--though I doubt I will be that lucky.
For the second selection, I am also curious if there is more to the piece.

Any information that you might have would be superb!
Thanks!
I hope the movies keeps the tradition of having the music from the beginning credits in LWW and when the Pevensie's return to Narnia in PC in all the other movies to come except make it sound sad in LB. That would be so cool!!

The band Relient K wrote two songs for the LWW Inspired by sountrack. Just in case they were asked to contribute. They weren't so they released the songs on their Apathetic EP. Here are links to here them on youtube....How do you like them?
The Truth:
In Like a Lion (Always Winter):
I have heard the song "In Like A Lion (Always Winter)" and I like it very much! the first time I heard it, it almost made me cry because the song is sort of sad, because it's from Mr. Tumnus' perspective on the 100 year winter!

Yeah it's kinda sad but I really like it...it sounds very Narnian, at least to me, and I like emotional songs like that
I meant that it was sad in a good way!

Oh I know...just saying
I definitely think that a new composer is going to be good for The Voyage of The Dawn Treader movie. From what I've seen, read, and heard, it seems that this newest Narnia movie is going to have a completely different feel than the other two movies. I think they need a new and different composer, to add that new feel.
I definitely think that they should keep the old themes, but like some others have been saying, they'll need to modify them a lot. And, I don't think there's any reason for us to worry. I mean, I don't think they would choose a different composer unless they were sure and confident that he could write amazing music for the movie.

I hope he does a good job. I really miss Harry Gregson Williams...he was fantastic... . I do hope they keep alot of the themes but I guess modification is a need, we don't want him to completely copy some part of the tracks...
I can't wait to hear what the new composer is going to do with VotDT! he is the same composer from the Michael Apted movie "Amazing Grace" and he did an awesome job with that movie and I am sure he will do an awesome job with VotDT!
but i will miss Harry Gregson-Williams.....his music in LWW and PC is awesome!
