The "Brexit" referendum in the United Kingdom, held in 2016, was very controversial.

"My kingdom for a horse!" Richard III allegedly said in 1485, according to William Shakespeare's famous drama

Drama was one of my favourite elective subjects at school.

"Reef 'n' Beef" (steak with shellfish) was a popular dish in some Aussie pubs in the 1980s.

Have you forgotten about a dish often served in Aussie pubs, called "Surf 'n Turf", where a nicely barbecued T-bone steak is topped with cooked prawns? Giggle Wink

Barbecued steaks and sausages and chicken and kebabs were the central feature of our family Christmas lunch when I was growing up in Australia!

(Very similar to "Reef 'n' Beef", generally — I've heard of them both, but I think the "reef" version was more common in pubs in Queensland! Wink )

Christmas dinners these days in my local Woollies or Coles are sometimes compiled with the meat in the main meal called "Turducken", a combination of Turkey, Duck & Chicken. Eyebrow

I remain unimpressed with most turkey in spite of its holiday popularity, although it does improve in my opinion if well-marinated.

I'm so unimpressed with the expense of visiting dentists, despite medical insurance, that I have been delaying necessary treatment.

It is shameful that such delays in care should be necessary, rather than us finding a better way to care for eachother.

How delightful it would be for nations to stop being so hostile to each other.
