I like the idea of solar energy, but until the distribution issues get worked out, more traditionally-generated electricity is more practical.

Irish dancing... I think the only time I have seen Scottish dancing is in the Brigadoon movie, and my memory on that is pretty fuzzy.

Christmas Day. Christmas Eve tends to be something of a rush: usually I'm still working on Christmas Eve (not this year as it's a Saturday), and getting to my friends' house (I always get my Christmas shopping finished at least two weeks before). On Christmas Day I can just relax, eat and watch "Doctor Who".
