My brother lives near Seattle so I've passed through Enumclaw a few times on our way to Mount Rainier National Park.

Eyjafjallajökull, a volcano in southern Iceland (which erupted in 2010 and disrupted air travel over Europe for a week)

Ludlow, Western Australia.

Wanaka, a small town beside a lake of the same name, in southern New Zealand - in an area featured in Lord of the Rings movies.

Austral, New South Wales. (Australia). One of those places often seen around on sign posts without anyone knowing exactly where it is. 

Lantana (Texas, USA)

Avonhead, a suburb in my city. (unsurprisingly, at the head of the river Avon!)

Dampier, Western Australia, on Roebuck Bay, named after the English buccaneer who visited Australia on 5/1/1688, just over a century before Captain Arthur Phillip, head of the First Fleet, proclaimed the foundation of the City of Sydney on 26/1/1788 on the shores of Port Jackson.
